What do you think??

Since Kamui is a jutsu you can use in an blink of eye and can be use even from far distance(in the contrary of Tsukiyomi or Amaterasu), normally you can hit every target you can see. Unless you escape from his field of vision(Kage bunshins, or a shield), it's nearly impossible to counter it. You can only hope that Kakashi run out of chakra quickly, but it seems like he can control it much more better, so i don't see it happening. What is also dangerous with the technique is that when it starts, you don't even know cuz it's nearly invisible(Deidara, or even Pain didn't knew when he absorbed his nail and went away cuz he thought he was already dead). So unless you have Raikages speed(who can surpass even the sharingan vision), or unless you can teleport yourself(Minato or Tobi), it's nearly impossible to dodge. You can try to feint him with Kage bunshins though.

So technically unless you have make bunshins before, Kamui is technically unavoidable unless you are as fast as Raikage or a S/T user like Tobi or Minato.

But that is only "technically" :noc:

Thing that people need to note is that everything is determined by kishi, its all plot.
If kakashi was to start with kamui outside the scope of plot he would be very dangerous

I guess you are right, unless you have speed or some kind of trick you are in trouble. However I don't think we can class the Deidara argument as valid since he was flying slow purposefully to lure Naruto and we saw he was very fast at dodging against Gaara. I'm not saying it wouldn't get him, just saying that situation had circumstances.

I think Kamui paralyse the ennemy when he is caught in it. Deidara said it himself. Not only him was caught in that kamui. Even the space around him was caught in kamui. So i think that technically when you're caught in kamui, the attraction make it really difficult to fight against. It works a little bit like black hole sphere like this:

correct

"The target can struggle helplessly, but against this technique no defence is possible. When the technique is invoked, the space at the centre of the barrier is distorted and the target inside the barrier is drawn in completely"

True, like I said I'm not saying it wouldn't get him but the fact the it was a new attack and took him time to aim and Deidara was flying slowly on purpose and not moving offensively or defensively changes everything so I can't count that as proof. Your other example prove the point perfectly though.

I think it's in the anime that you think Deidara was flying that long. On manga pages, kamui didn't took that long. So we can't know if Deidara even had time to go out of it:

Remember that kakashi was going to use the kamui on the bijuu bombs and gai's only concern was that the kamui can't work on that scale, so yes I would say kamui is one of those game ending techs.

This is also true but what I was saying is he wasn't flying like he was battling and was just flying a linear path. I think we have to agree to disagree on this. Overall I agree with your point.

There's a couple of problems with that yes it is a strong technique the reason he caught deidara with it is because deidara was in open room in the air that made it a easy target. The reason was able to warp Susanoo arrow was because it was coming directly towards him so he knew were to leave the warp hole, People how have summons or clones as supports would make it a bad move to use it against but in a open field it would prove to be a deadly technique.
