The true "canon"? I mean this is being told from adult boruto, right? Iirc this manga got the thumbs up from kishi as being canon. So wouldn't that make the movie and novel kinda meaningless story-canon wise?

I'd rather a spin-off based on one of the other villages. Preferably Kumogakure, or Kirigakure (Seven Ninja Swordsmen).
