Well Naruto empowers Sakura and Kakashi while Sasuke helps coordinate and keeps everyone safe. It can't be a coincidence that this week's episode was a recap of the first mission

I wouldn't call that strategies, but he can definitely think on his feet and keep up with interesting ideas. I don't remember him utilizing the unique aspects of others in order form good plans

Lol, are you kidding me? We all know Sasuke sucks at teamwork, while Naruto has always used teamwork.

Just mention 1 Sasuke's fight which he recognised his team, even when he was with Taka against Bee, he went in alone and got soloed and the people he neglected had to save his ass. Twas only against Kabuto and that's because Itachi took the lead.

In contrast, Naruto right from time had used teamwork, either with other ninjas, Kurama, his toad summons or his clones.
Against Zabuza, Naruto came up with the plan while scared Sasuke was about running away.
Haku, Sasuke didnt work with Naruto until he got soloed and Naruto saved him as kyuubi chakra leaked with his rage.
Against Gaara, Sasuke wanted to prove high and mighty and got soloed, Naruto teamed with his clones and boss Gama and won.
Naruto fought alone only against Kakuzu, but all other battles, he always made use of teamwork.
Against Juubito, he took the lead while Sasuke followed. And against Madara in this final showdown, its still gonna be Naruto.
