W/o Karin, Taka doesn't stand much of a chance based on the things said about Hiruzen in his prime. Considering he knows so many jutsu, he probably has a counter for just about everything Taka can throw at him.

I think old Hiruzen could take this team even if they had Karin, too. Hiruzen was able to take on Orochimaru and two Edo Hokage at the same time, and that team is stronger than Taka. In fact, if it hadn't been for Hiruzen's age, I bet he would've won the fight. Prime Hiruzen, based on the rep he's been given over time and the incredible skill he showed in his old age, would tear Taka into shreds.

Amaterasu could be blocked/ slowed by an earth style wall, water style, etc. I'm not sure about Susanoo though, but like i said, Hiruzen in his prime is supposed to rival even Hashirama (Hype) i'm sure he could counter, but there isn't much info on him in his prime.

hiruzen. he could take the 1st, 2nd and oro. they may have been reincarnated, but they were still very powerful. and if hiruzen was prime, no doubt.

Enma is stronger than diamond. With that he could protect himself with almost all attacks. He also has his earth style wall. In his prime he was faster and had more stamina, and like said by Orochimaru, he had to use clones as a bait. With his combos doton,katon he could find his way to win the battle.

no its just a better matchup. ms sasuke was able to take on danzo even though danzo has a vast array of abilities stronger or equal to everything hiruzen could do. one amaterasu and hes trapped. one genjutsu and hes trapped. one susano arrow and hes impaled. theres too much sasuke can do to stop hiruzen.
