Base Kabuto refers to Kabuto not using Sage Mode, but its still Kabuto after he absorbed their cells. That's why OP lists them all as prime. Prime Base Kabuto would be the Kabuto I described.

i meant base as in no scientific experiment stuff just his normal self no sound 5 abilities, no suigetsu or jugo abilities.

well he never had suigetsu cells. he created an ability similar to hozuki clan after studying them. its purely his own jutsu. with it he can almost solo this fight. only problem is kakashi

Kakashi is about the same level as Kabuto without Kamui according to Jiraiya.

Suigetsu is only a little bit under Darui as shown by their fight at the Gokage summit.

Hebi Sasuke would give Gai a decent fight.

The problem lies with Asuma; he gets stomped by Orochimaru, who stomps Kakashi without Kamui by his own admittion, and Darui is even weaker. Gai cannot beat Orochimaru with the rest of his team.
