There are things one can think of enabling the Kages to win.

Gokages held their own against 25 Legged Susano'o. Not to mention KidGamer already showed that massive Jinton that could wipe away those clones and Madara himself. Plus the fact that the Susano'o clones were actually moving towards them but the Cube could be prepared fast enough. If Sasuke tries to use his Arrow, Gaara intercepts it with his sand. Considering the arrow needs to be prep, the distance is 65M and Gaara sand already intercepted Enton which is fast. If I recall, his sand had the power to intercept multiple Susano'o blades and a lightened meteorite.

- Ay and Onoki do the usuals which is blitzing through Susano'o. Obito was almost caught off guard by Ay's speed in V1

imagine a lightened Ay who could be switched to do damage strong enough to put a whole in V3.

- Golem is another Jutsu and the fact that Mei could use the Hidden Mist Jutsu to alter one's vision. Madara had Katon but still fell prey to this Jutsu and Mei has shown to use this on a ridiculous scale. Plus the location enabling Gaara to utilize his sand like how he drew Madara out of his Susano'o.

- Ay and Onoki are way too fast for these guys. None can touch them or track them...They need their defense against them and V3 got destroyed.
