Won't Kushina be inside that barrier as well? If she doesn't have to be, then she has to stay still to maintain the rods and the barrier which leave her vulnerable for attacks from other summons, missiles, etc.Well there's no need to attack the cerebrus if it's trapped in the barrier. I dunno how she's going to be killed by it when it's in the barrier.
She has proficiency to fire her lava in over distances, not sure why it wouldn't be effective just cause their flying. They could keep trying to evade it, sure, but avoiding Gaara's sand, Mei's lava and Sasori's puppets all at the same time? Good luck.
Why can't Gaara's sand block the missiles? Or in a dire situation, Sasori use one(or multiple) of his 100 puppets to take the hit before it reaches him? I mean it's not as if Sasori is a sitting duck who is incapable of fighting..
I've never seen Mei fire lava over a mid-long range distance. Perhaps you have a scan of this? Also, Gakidō absorbs all ninjutsu, so even if Mei manages to reach them (which I doubt) ...it'll get absorbed.
The puppets here are fodder in front of Shuradō and Tendō, while the bird will be focusing on evading the sand. The Rinnegan's shares vision allows for ultimate visual perception, so the paths will be able to see sand coming from any angle, and act accordingly. Sasori is kind of a sitting duck here if he gets Banshō Teni'n'd, because like I said, Sasori's core of flesh stands out as being exposed. With the missiles firing at the same time the gravitational effect takes place, Gaara will need to infuse chakra into a lot of sand to not only make it faster, but make it enough to cover Sasori's core in time before he gets blown up. Or, to trick Gaara, the Pain can fire the missiles, then Banshō Teni'n Sasori at the last second as Gaara gets ready to defend.
His scale was that great because he was in a desert/his "home field". He did similar things in fighting the Edo Kages/Madara in terms of scale, while in the desert. I mean I guess he loses the ability to use Shukaku's form with his sand, but that doesn't much matter here, those "limbs" didn't really add much use/anything that just his regular old unformed sand couldn't do.
I always assumed that the limbs were more durable than regular sand, but I could be wrong. Anyway, I don't think Gaara replicated anything close to this while facing the 2nd Mizukage and Mū in the desert, and I certainly don't remember him using anything of that scale against Madara.
