[VS] Team Gaara vs. Team Kisame

For Gaara, it's not as much of an issue. He can do that but the sand itself isn't heavy enough to slow him down. The gold dust would though the Kazekage probably can't produce an adequte amount to do anything too great. Not to mention kisame can use a suiton on the gold dust to try and push it out. Like an under water current. But, I doubt he can make enough gold dust to slow down the Second Mizukage when he has Kisame and Mei; Two massive suiton users backing him up.

Not to mention that Kisame can target Gaara (He is a bad match up for) or another. I also suppose Kisame and Samehada can fuse, travel inside the Second Mizukages large aqua form and absorb any sand that he comes in contact with. He can use the Subterranian travel technique to get out of any Gold dust if the Kazekage attempts to trap him.

As for Mei. She's really just a side kick to support the Second Mizukage...

The 4th Kazekage used his gold dust to counter Gaaras sand tsunami and the Ichibi whenever it went on a rampage, so he has to have quite the chakra reserves much like Gaara. And if kisame fuses to absorb the sand inside the Trollkages aqua body, the Ichiba can fire off a TBB and potentially kill them both, if not put heavy fatal damage on them. Kisame might be able to heal, but the Trollkage would be finished.

But, to compete with a Hozuki mingled up with Kisame's and Mei's massive suiton jutsu? That's rather massive my friend. He can most likely keep this up for a bit. But I don't see it being remotely effective simply by the fact that Kisame can always just enlargen the Second Mizukage.

As for the TBB. Two problems I find. Gaara's not a perfect jin and is incapable of doing that here, correct? Second. The size of a TBB is usually smaller as we go down the number of tails a Bijuu has. If Suigetsu was able to survive The Hachibi's, I see no reason why a potentially stronger Suiton monster couldn't tank a weaker TBB. All assuming Kisame doesn't react with a Great Shark bullet (Doesn't have to be of significant size, mind you. Just large enough to feed off of it at the least and make it a lesser explosion. Though he could go with a significantly larger one to try and stop the attack.)

@Bold; Er, You kind of lost me here. Are you saying Kisame can't use the fusion technique once inside the Mizukage? Or, he can't resupply the Mizukage with Suiton...? Or something else?

by the weaker tailed beasts are absolutely minuscule to what we've seen by the Eight and Nine tails. So yeah. I think it's fair to say the Ichibi will most likely not be pulling out Hachibi level Bijuu Bombs. And without that, I don't see a sure fire way to take down the Second Mizukage (Without having to work a character to borderline chakra exhaustion and leave the team more vulnerable).

But... I really don't see a way to beat Shukaku either...
