So with five why is he still a Chunnin? I can understand why Naruto is because he was missing a bunch during the time training. But why with 5 gates he still a chunnin? While people like Neji is a Jonnin part two.

Like you said he is dumber than most. Dumb in real life or dumb in Naruto he losses to a guy similar in strength or greater if Lee is greater.

We seen in the h11 h12 who makes the calls it is usually Shik if he is not around Neji or Shino,(sasuke) but never I mean never Lee making a plan. Sakura or Tenten is seen making plans before him. He just follows orders
