I actually think team Asuma would win this one.

Shikamaru is very intelligent and if they were going to fight he would make a plan before hand, Choji is quite strong too with his jutsu, Ino well she needs team work, which team Asuma is great at.

Team Gai has Neji, quite smart too and one of the strongest shinobi of his time, Lee incredible fast and strong, Tenten weapon specialist.

I'd go with Team Asuma, intelligence beats Strength in my opinion.

In a straight forward battle team Gai wins with low difficulty.
It will get tricky though if ino can take over Neji and use him to beat tenten, then if shikamaru can catch lee in his shwdows, use neji to completely block his chakra holes and damage his internal organs.

After than ino can come back into her own body and the three could possible take Neji, that is if shika has enough chakra to use his shadows again for choji to attack Neji at will
