*As they get to the place Richter has led them to, he calls to L, Sai and Sasuke to land their birds*

*Richter motions for his friends to follow him as he walks to the center of the lake and lets himself fall in.*
*As he falls through, he lands on a patch of land that leads underground and is 100% free of water*

*L is surprised when he lands on a solid surface, and does not feel the wet sensation he had expected.*

*He looks around. Richter explains it is a Belmont shortcut to Ame. L's heart beats hard, his eyes widen. This was great ! He was relieved he wouldn't have to put as much effort into getting into Ame as he would've. And also, he was glad to get off that bird. He pulls a piece of cake from his pocket, it is squished, but he doesn't care.*

"Okay Richter," L says in between cake chewing, "Where *chew* to *swallow* Next?"​
