Tashigi has dark brown eyes and wears her black hair between chin- and shoulder-length. She looks remarkably similar to the late Kuina, Zoro's childhood friend. She wears rectangular glasses with red frames.
During her time as a Kirigakure ninja, she was seen wearing short-sleeved shirts of varying different colors and designs but usually covered them with her white-trimmed, waist-length blue leather coat. She tended to wear blue jeans with black shoes but has also paired white capris with tan shoes.
Her hair is much longer and now pinned up by a clip. She still wears glasses, and, like many other women, her figure has become more exaggeratedly feminine than it was two years ago. She was seen wearing a floral button-down shirt, blue capris, dark pink gloves with a white trim, and dark pink boots. Having achieved the rank of captain, she replaced her blue coat with a pink version of the standard Supernova' coat. As with Hina, Tashigi's subordinates tend to fawn over her, but it is clear that they also respect her as their superior.
Personality:
Despite her proficiency in sword fighting, she is usually clumsy, which gets on Smoker's nerves. She is extremely interested in katanas, often identifying their names and origins on sight; even when in danger, she may be distracted by the presence of a famed blade.
Tashigi is very brave and reckless when fighting her opponents, a trait typical of swordswomen and swordsmen. She will battle anyone she considers an enemy, regardless of their reputation. This fighting spirit often turns into carelessness and has led to her defeat on several occasions, much to Lancer's disdain. Two examples would be her fight against Annabel Uchiha, during which her knee was broken, and her fight against Lucina, during which she was almost cut in half. She is also stubborn and may refuse to accept defeat if she feels she has been looked down upon, as seen when she demanded a rematch with Zoro, indignant that he didn't cut her down.She even refused to give up after Lucina spared her life. Her endless determination could be interpreted as a "sore loser" attitude, but it seems to derive from her desire to protect what is important to her.
Tashigi felt that, as a swordswoman, she would be perceived as inferior to swordsmen by default, and she accused Zoro of refusing to cut her because of her gender. As a swordswoman, she would rather face death than be shamefully defeated. However, this does not stop her from trying hard to get stronger and achieve her dreams.
Tashigi wears her shirts buttoned up higher and shows less cleavage than many other female characters, indicating that she is somewhat reserved about her body. One of Tashigi's most prominent character traits is her absentmindedness.

Background Info
History
Tashigi was a young girl who was born in the land of water's village. She was a single child and was raised loving the art of the sword and genjutsu. She spent most of her younger years learning the history of katana's and genjutsus. Once she hit the age of 9 she started to train with her father in order to become a better ninja. She was trained to perfection till she was old enough to go into the world on her own.
She eventually joined the Marine forces of Kirigakure, now she guards the borders of the land alonh side her comrades from invaders. She is really close friends with Annabel Uchiha and Lucina Ganmi, the three of them being considered a powerful trio. Her mother was a direct member of the Yuki clan and she has inherited her kekkai genkai of ice release but needs to train to harness it.

Genjutsu/Water Affinity
From the age of 9 Tashigi has had a wide interest in the ways of genjutsu, most from learning about it from her sensei. Since she wasn't a ninja till she was 8, she only knew little about the art of Genjutsu, but after becoming a ninja, she learned from many of the best the village can offer, eventually becoming a master of genjusu. She is able to use all and any genjutsu she knows with a single hand seal, proving her mastery over the art.

Kenjutsu/Taijutsu Mastery
One of her underdog masteries, but still to be feared. Tashigi is strangely well versed in the art of the sword, it being the first melee style that took her interest. . She is also well versed in hand to hand combat, being able to fight on par with many taijutsu experts.
Summoning Techniques, Cougars
Tashigi is a signer of the Cougar Summoning Contract, which includes all sub species that reside within Izayuri Island. She also has access to the Cougar Techniques, the supporting ninjutsu of the contract.
The Will Of the Mist
Tashigi possesses a tremendously strong determination not only to live, but for victory and the protection of her homeland. This stems from the will of Lightning she inherited as a shinobi of Kirigakure. Having such determination means that in a fight, small injuries are not enough to stop her in her pursuit for glory.
Mist Perception
As a shinobi of Kirigakure, Tashigi has a natural ability to see one range further than average in mist. This allows her to see into long-range in thin fog, and into mid-range in thick fog because she is accustomed to the mist in the Land of Water, and her eyes has adjusted.
