Alright, so the purpose of this thread is to target some points around NB involving the Sasuke vs Danzo fight that I disagree with. I will analyze each of these "arguments" 1 by 1.
1. Danzo was conserving chakra the entire fight.
Analysis: Now, while this a reasonable little piece of speculation, there is no proof that he was doing this. The reason people say this is because of this scan:
Now the flaw here is Tobi doesn't know for sure what he's doing. There's no way for Tobi to know that for a fact. The key phrase here is "I won't need any special technique for her". This simply means that if Danzo was conserving chakra, it was most likely for that moment only. He knew using chakra to deal with Karin is stupid, so he went with Taijutsu.
2. Karin was helping Sasuke.
False again. Karin helped in no way. Sasuke figured out the basics of Izanagi himself. Not once did Karin alert Sasuke to an attack. Yes, she yelled "Look out!", like, once. But honestly, does yelling look out really do anything at all? No.
3. KA would have solo'ed Sasuke.
This is a pretty dumb thing to say. Let's say Danzo KA'd Sasuke to kill himself. Do you really think Sasuke will say to himself "Hmm, the urge to kill myself has sporadically entered my mind. Better follow it."
Of course not. Sasuke will realize something is wrong, he's not stupid. He would also be able to see that his chakra flow is messed up.
Another point to defute KA is Susano'o. Sasuke had Susano'o active for almost the entire fight. Susano'o has been noted by Sasuke himself to hurt at a cellular level. That means excruciating pain constantly at every part of the body. What's one way of getting out of Genjutsu? Pain, so you better believe the pain from Susano'o can snap Sasuke out of it.
Another thing I want to point out about KA is a little theory of my own. I believe KA works best with those with an underlying desire to do the order. Look at Itachi and Mifune, the only two to be actually have been shown being affected by KA. Both had an underlying desire to do the order, Itachi loving his village and Mifune saying that he may have chosen Danzo anyway. I believe KA can only push those to do something that they have a desire to do already. There's no solid proof for this, but it's something to think about.
