I loved how sasuke said are you play defense all day then naruto promptly leveled him and stuck a tailed beast bomb in his face then decided not blast him.
Not saying that was the end but naruto certainly showed him that the fight can change real quickly if he wanted it to

That's not true, kirin brought naruto to his knees, after kirin was used that's when sasuke told him you won't be able to keep this up if you don't fight back because just trying to tank shit would have gotten him killed low diff while if he starts using offense the probability of him having to directly tank a jutsu goes down because it's forcessasuke to use defense in place of all the offense he was using...you need to learn how to fight you would have understood that...
The Bijuu Susano > Tri Kyuubi Avatar, however the ultimate jutsu's were equal tho, and only because the 4th kyuubi clone avatar sasuke knocked out of the air to the forest was absorbing all the senjutsu it could amass which even said it had too much so that senjutsu was used to match indras arrow on top of them being frs and tsb and bijuudama properties
