Inside the dragons lair,
I have been taken.
Left alone;
Lost, forlorn, forsaken.
Breath full of fire,
Beating of his wings;
Standing before,
This killer of kings.
Striking and majestic,
Emerald green eyes;
Sparkling in the firelight,
Eyeing its prize.
He slashes trough the air,
Tail crashes down thrice;
And is prepared to consume
This fair sacrifice.
Griping the earth,
With his talons so sharp;
But I soothe and calm him down,
With the sound of my harp.
Playing sweet, soft melodies;
To lullaby him to sleep.
Calmest tune to tame him,
Right here in his own keep.
Frozen in time,
Thinking this was the end.
But my melodies, they were heard,
The dragon is now my friend.
