Tamao is a well built male, with black hair (sometimes with brown stripes)and brown eyes. He usually wears a black suit jacket with rolled up sleeves, and a red and white checkered shirt beneath. He do also wear black suit pants, and black suit shoes. This suit is part of his old school uniform. His hair reaches him to his shoulders, but he usually put the hair from the front of his head back in a ponytail in the back of his head. It is also very rare that he is seen without a cigarette in his mouth.
Personality:
Tamao's personality changes quickly, depending on who he is talking to. Towards his true friends he is really open. To them, he is the one that brings the joy to the group. They don't understand how he can be this happy, when they have heard about his past, but the truth is that it is them who make him this happy and joyful about life. He doesn't hide his memories for them, and he have told them everything there is to be about his past.
Towards other people that is around his age, he is not open at all. To them, he seems like a trapped and depressed boy, and he shows very little or no feelings towards them.
The people that are older than him in the village talks about him with his old nickname, The Monster of Suzuran. They heard the stories about him before he came to the village, and they are part of the reason that he is pretty silent towards other people, except his friends, his mother and Asuma sensei. He have always been open towards Asuma, and one of the treats that brought them together was the smoking. Asuma and Tamao have talked alot about them selves while taking their daily cigarettes.
During battles, Tamao is often spotted with a smile on his face, and sometimes when he gets really into a fight, he scream like a maniac. When he is not fighting, he is a really relaxed person, and take life very easy.

Background Info.
History:
For some reason Tamao doesn't remember the name of his village of birth, he only remembers the name of his old school, Suzuran, because the nickname 'The Monster of Suzuran', has followed him his whole life.
Tamao has very little memory of his old life before he started shcool. But he know that his mother and father were respectful shinobis, and fought for their village during the Third Shinobi World War. Tamao was five years old when he saw his father get slaughtered in their own home, by some shinobis from Iwagakure. The symbol on their forehead was burned into Tamaos memories for couple of years, and revenge was on his thoughts.
A couple of years later, Tamao started to go to school. His mother did not allow him to go to a ninja academy, so he went to a school where they only teached 'normal' subjects, the Suzuran school. Due to the war, the school didn't have enough resources so they had trouble with the kids. The school was know out in the country, and the shinobi world, as the worst school there is. The school was filled with different gangs with different leaders. The biggest leader, usually a senior year, had controll over the most classes, and was know as the 'True King of Suzuran'. They became leaders over a gang by fighting the leader of that gang, and the winner is the new leader, and that gang joins the new leaders gang. Tamao entered the school, with the thoughts of revenge for his father. His goal for this school was to become the 'True King of Suzuran'. He was a merely seven year old, with a obsession to become the 'True King of Suzuran'. In his first year he was laughed at, and gained no respect, but through the following years, he became bigger and bigger, and his gang kept growing. Some of the fights between his gang and some other gang were often very bad, and he has witnessed alot of lifes getting lost, and he have self taken some lifes to obtain his goal. After his sixth year on Suzuran he became known as 'The Monster of Suzuran', due to the blood he made his opponent shed, and the lifes he had taken during his fights. In the year before his senior year he had obtained his goal, he became the 'True king of Suzuran'. After countless fist fights, his mind finally started to get together. Things changed, and he grew up and started to think about the things that were best for himself and his mother. When he was eighteen, he and his mother left the village to look for a better life.
The first village they came to was Konohagakure. The rumors about 'The Monster of Suzuran' had spread, and the villagers knew that they would come, and they did not arrive to a people with open arms, but rather a locked up people, who knew how to give those cold and empty looks at 'Monsters'. Tamao and his mother were allowed to talk to the hokage, and Tsunade-sama had a personal talk with Tamao, and she could feel that he had changed. She had never talked to him before, but she felt that the aura around him now, was very calm and relaxed. They were allowed to stay, and things only went upwards from there. The first person Tamao got to know in the village was Asuma. Asuma caught him surreptitiously smoking behind one of the shops, but promised to not tell his mom, because Tamao was really afraid to let his mom down, but the smoking was a habit he have had since the early years of Suzuran. Tamao found it hard to make friends in the beggining, because the parents wanted the kids to stay away from 'The Monster of Suzuran'', but after a while there were someone brave enough to ask Tamao about his past, and he reveald everything to this person, who later became one of Tamao's closest friends.

He made his mother learn him the basics of ninjutsu, and he was allowed to take the academy test, without having to take the whole course, and then he became a Genin. And now Tamao is on his way to become a great shinobi, and make Asuma proud.
