In avatar,legend of korra,the guy named zaheer has been air bending like someone that was born it. He got the power like 6 weeks ago coz of harmonic convergence and besides he was in jail. The most annoying part is that he performed a new technique of airbending I.e he was able to pull the air out of the a woman "the queen" lungs!. For me this asspull> kakashi's asspull

There are theories that says he was an air acolyte, basicly he was an airbender without the bending part, bending is based on martial arts, he was the leader of Red Lotus and he was inprisoned in a top security prison when he wasn't a bender

I don't really think It's an asspull considering the fact that he knows so much about the guru "lahema" and the fact that the spirits are around, my guess is that he was taught air bending by a spirit most likely a spirit that knew the guru lahema
