Re: Talking about boring shows Madarar, DBZ is by far at the top, Naruto>DB and DBZ
To be honest I kind of agree. I don't know how or why I use to run home from school to watch DBZ. When I recently tried to rewatch DBZ, It was alright, but nothing too amazing to fuss over. The fight scenes and thrill is all good and well from time to time, but most of the time the show is extremely boring because the fights are drawn out with repetition and incessant screaming.
Good example, Watch goku vs Frieza... Goku said like 5 times and more 'frieeeezaaaaa!!!! I've had enough, this ends now!' or something to that effect... 30 minutes later "heh, this is fun but now the warmup is over. Let's fight for real". Rinse and repeat. Even during the final moments when he goes super saiyan and has a massive advantage screaming "blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" for 15 minutes he then goes on to 'take it easy' on frieza and patronize him pushing him to powerup even more and make the fight more 'exciting' for goku.
Some dragging on is alright, but after a while it gets boring and frustrating. DBZ is really a show you can mostly only watch once.
However, I won't say Naruto > DBz. Part 1 naruto, as with the first seasons of DBZ, was pretty good and had it's flash back padding, but part 2 of naruto, especially after pain arc, started to go downhill. In fact, I'm judging DBZ based on the anime right now, while basing naruto off the manga (don't really watch shippuuden), if I had to start adding in naruto's filler padding, it's easy to see that naruto is no better than DBZ..
