Chapter 6: Get the Bells [PART I]
Right then and there, the fight began. But, it wasn't the fight I was expecting.
"Okay. I feel like we should work together on this one. From the looks of it, Hikari will most likely have the most bells. But, they both seem really strong" Yaski said.
"Look, I don't care. I'm going off on my own. All I need to do is get a bell, and I'll be on a squad, you two can worry about yourself" Shikaru said while jumping off.
"Whelp, I guess it's just you and me Soraya" Yaski said with a dreary tone.
"Y-Yeah, OK" I said while trying to hide how happy I was, and we began walking towards the forest.
*************Shikaru***************
Shikaru landed on one of the large tree branches and looked around for Hikari.
"Hm... She's a sensei, and looks like a pretty smart one too. I don't think she'll stay out in the open for a birds eye view-" Shikaru said until he noticed Hikari sitting at the base of the tree, twiddling the bell in her hand.
So... Tora has the most bells Shikaru thought.
"Shikaru!" Hikari began. "Aren't you gonna come for these bells!?"
"Stop provoking me!" Shikaru said then jumped down. "I'm taking those bells now!"
Come on Shikaru... Find something
Shikaru noticed two rocks and ran towards them.
"What are you doing?" Hikari said.
Shikaru connected himself to the rocks, then got off and began running towards Hikari.
Once he was in reach, he jumped behind her. In order to avoid the bells being taken, she jumps backwards.
Shikaru took out a kunai and began slicing at her pocket where she placed the bells after getting up.
"You sure seem really determined" Hikari said while dodging every slice. "But you determination is you downfall" Hikari ducked, grabbed Shikaru's arm, took the kunai out and slammed the Kunai into the ground.
Shikaru stepped back, and slumped over in fatigue.
"Aw. You seem tired" Hikari began. "Let me help you out th-" But she soon noticed that she couldn't move. She looked down to noticed shadows holding onto her feet from the two rocks.
Shikaru looked up while grinning.
"There we go, now those bells are mine"
"Oh really, so what do you call this one?" Hikari asked.
"Shadow Grip Jutsu. It allows left over shadow residue to grab on when timed. I set the time of when my show possession would grab hold of the kunai you slammed into the ground" Shikaru explained. "And now, I'll just use my shadow possession to have you drop the bell"
While the shadow was heading towards Hikari she began to speak,
"I underestimated you Nara folk. Intelligent at a young age, and your able to use your clan jutsu already. Very impressive, but did you know that I wasn't the smartest in my class?"
Finally, the shadow reached into her pocket.
"What does that have to do with the fact that you lost"
Then the shadow pulled out two white bombs.
Oh no, smokescreen!
The smoke exploded and the shadows disappeared.
"No sunlight equals no shadow. You just got played by someone with a lower IQ than you" Hikari said in the distance. Once the smoke cleared, she was gone.
"Dammit..." Shikaru grumbled while jumping off "I hope the other two aren't doing any better"
For the next 3 chapters it will remain at Chapter 6, but the parts will change. There are 3 parts off "Get the Bells" .
