(Part I was told in third person omniscient, an all-knowing narrator, and Part II is told in the first person view of Ama. She was not in the original manuscript, so we’ll see if she’s a good or bad addition. If you need a reference for places, here:
Hope you enjoy this!)

[What is the mission about? What are these abilities Ama speaks of?]

I decided to keep a written record of my time as jonin because it has always been my dream and had become a reality. So, I had better begin, right? I’ll start at my first day. Dawn approached. I took care to brush my hair in the early hour of daylight because I wanted to look presentable to Miss Hokage. I heard a rustling in the room next to mine. It must have been Hi packing. It is a shame that he cannot be here without the heavy as lead scrutiny of the prejudiced Hyuga. It is they that are tainted. I fastened my headband and set off into the cool, crisp, and clear day that lay ahead of me. To my surprise, Hikusa was awake and alert, strolling through the stone garden. He called to me, “Let’s go Ama. We don’t want to be late.” I smiled back t give some sort of relief to him, but his countenance seemed mixed. A look of contentment, yet anxiety had shown in his face. Was it the Hyuga’s rudeness? Probably.
After an unusually quiet walk to the Hokage’s office, we entered. Lady Tsunade spoke to us, “Hello, both of you. Here is the mission. A rogue ninja named Fu has started trouble in the Land of Waterfalls near the ninja village. Report to the village and see what’s going on. It takes about two weeks to get and you need to get there in a month, so I’m just giving you a head’s up because she is strong.”

“We will leave now since we are ready”, interjected Hi.

“Preposterous! There is no way I’m letting you leave!” After staring at each other and arguing for ten minutes, we received permission and were leaving the village gates. Being good friends, I knew Hi was very persuasive and stubborn. Sometimes I admired that, sometimes I didn’t. After three days of silent travel through the forests surrounding the village and stopping at teahouses, we finally arrived at city called Tanzuku Town. I was worried about him because of his newfound, strange sternness.

“We’ll stop here and rest for a few days”, he said smiling, “Come!” All my worrying left with that smile. Its warmth melted the frigid apprehension I had stored. He led me through the sizeable town. It was a bustling metropolis, and quite pleasurable. I enjoyed shopping and strolled through town with him. We always spoke of training, but enjoyed each other’s company so much we never did. Hi provided the lodging as repayment for me keeping him. I was so grateful of his generosity. We stayed in the most luxurious of places and really relaxed! On the fourth day of our stay, he asked if I wished to go to see the famous Tanzuku Castle. It was said to be destroyed by a most evil man earlier and had just finished being rebuilt. I told him that I was delighted to go and I truly was. We explored every nook and cranny, and we had an amazing day! It was quite fascinating too that this castle had been! It had originally been built during the times of the founding of the hidden villages! Hi also gambled at the many casinos during the night after our feasts for dinner. After three weeks, we left and after four more days of travel we arrived at small town called Border Town. Obviously, it lay on the border between the Land of Rain and the Land of Fire and had a humongous river that stretched as the actual border. Though not as entertaining and large, Border Town was fine enough. We finally set off to go straight to the waterfall village after four days in Border Town. My, how much leisure this mission travel had, the most ever! It felt more like a vacation than an assassination, S-Rank mission! We finally arrived at a big boulder that had a huge waterfall guarding the front of it after six days.

“What do we do? Have we gone to the right place?” I asked.

“Of course. This is the waterfall that hides the village. A cave is behind it that serves as a gate and leads to a passageway that leads to the village”

“Oh” Once we checked in at the gate, we entered the beautiful and hidden village. A giant tree in the center of a great river and in the center of the village itself served as the leader’s mansion. How interested I am to this day. When went through the wooden steps of this almost hollow, yet living tree, we saw all of its magnificence. It is truly a wonder. When we finally entered the leader’s, not kage but leader, office we spoke of the mission.

“So, you arrive a few days earlier than expected. Great! Welcome to the Waterfall Village! I knew I could count on the village that Uzumaki Naruto was from! Let’s see, you must be Hyuga Ama, and Uchiha Hikusa! I can tell from both of your doujutsus! I am Shibuki, leader of this village. Please allow me to explain what you must do.”

We both said, “We are extremely honored to serve you, please, continue.”

“I will. Fu is our village’s jinchuuriki for the seven-tailed beast, the horned beetle. She is a skilled kunoichi who could easily defeat me.”

“Then why isn’t SHE leader, with all due respect?” Hi stupidly interrupted, and I kicked him.

“Well, because of her being a jinchuuriki, she has extreme cynicism towards humanity. She also is not as popular as I am with the people. Out of bitterness for losing, she has fled the village and is wreaking havoc in and around the village, and pretty soon the whole country. These crimes are so severe, and she is so difficult to capture, that I must ask you two to assassinate her.”

“Assassinate? Isn’t that kind of harsh?” I questioned.

“No, like I said, she has caused great turmoil. Tomorrow you will begin. You are here early after all, why don’t you be a tourist for the day?”

“I think we-” Hi began, but then a huge crashing noise broke out. The giant tree collapsed! Shibuki was left defenseless in rubble. I say defenseless because his jutsu needed water and in that confined space couldn’t offer that. The tree lay crushing houses on the river, and we stood beside it and across from a young girl with green hair and orange eyes.

“That’s Fu! She specializes in water and earth ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu, and fuuinjutsu! She is quite formidable!” cried the leader.

“Speaking of fuuinjutsu, shut up! NINJA ART: SPEECH SELAING JUTSU!” and he could no longer speak! In a sarcastic tone she remarked, “What tough opponents they’ve sent for me! What ever shall I do?”

“Let’s go!” Hi shouted and began to run at her.

“Don’t be hasty!” I said, but it was too late, she almost at the speed of light swung down upon my comrade. I quickly ran, activated my byakugan and used, “EIGHT TRIGRAMS EMPTY AIR PALM!” and blasted her away with chakra. “Hi, leave this to me! I am Hyuga Ama of the Hyuga Main House, and I am your opponent!”

What abilities does Ama have? Will the fight be exciting? Will I stop asking questions? Find out next time!

I had to separate the action with something (that's chapter 8 and most of chapter 9) They are like the glue between too much action. Thanks!
