In his past life, Nie Li was the strongest Demon Spiritist and stood at the pinnacle of the martial world. However, he lost his life during the battle with the Sage Emperor and the Six Deity Ranked Beast.His soul was then brought back to when he was still 13 years old. Although he’s the weakest in his class with the lowest talent at only Red soul realm, with the aid of the vast knowledge which he accumulated from his previous life, he trained faster then anyone. He aims to protect the city which in the coming future will be assaulted by beasts and end up destroyed, as well as protect his lover, friends and family who died in the beast assault. And to destroy the Sacred family whom abandon their duty and betrayed the city in his past life.

Spoiler: Chapter One

Starts off with an introduction to the current world, with a picture painted of a dystopian world with only one city remaining, Glory City. Turns out the MC was killed in the future and through some obscure book or spell was able to travel back in time to the past when he was young, bringing the knowledge of the future back with him.

Interested to see how he plans to alter the future through the past and will the changes affect his memory?

Spoiler: Chapter Two

The main rival makes an appearance. Seems like the MC has a negative opinion of the main house for leaving the city and running away from the threat. The first act he performs after returning to the past is to call out his teacher on her isolated worldview?

Seems he's intent on making sure to flip the table and throw all of the toys out of the box.

Spoiler: Chapter Three

It seems that he's intent on continuing to push his professor's buttons. Instead of taking the verbal lashing and proving her wrong with his actions, he seems intent on drawing attention to himself and angering one of the teachers at the school at the same time.

It seems like he had some ulterior plan in mind, his words stirring together a band of 'brothers' to join him.

Spoiler: Chapter Four

I'm not really sure what the point of this chapter was. It seems he knows some method to raise their spirit level color in order to meet the two month timetable but it also seems to be extremely expensive, requiring millions or tens of millions of spirit coins. Even for a noble family, that seems exceptionally difficult to obtain.

Spoiler: Chapter Five

I was half right, he didn't intend to use money to raise their skills and level. It seems he plans to use alchemy and paralyzing agents to capture beasts. Not sure what he plans to do with them but I'm assuming it has more to do with the long-term goals.

He's probably aiming to shorten the time it took to achieve his legend status in the future by using shortcuts he discovered.

I wonder if his new friends are going to realize that he doesn't have much in the way of budget due to his family falling on hard times?

Spoiler: Chapter Six

So their plan is to harvest the horned sheep and turn in the horns, fur, crystal and something else. I'm not sure how this is going to work in the long run, it seems like the other students and teachers have caught on to the drop in population and sent out people to investigate.

Seems like there's another student training in the forest and she's by herself. I wonder if he's going to fall for her instead of the other girl?

OMG, I've been reading this weekly about 2 years ago until my app crashed out and I forgot which chapter I was on (so I'm about 2 years behind). Unfortunately I cannot find this series on the Webtoon mobile app. You know of any app where it's available on?

My first impressions of the main character based off of his looks and the content in the first 6 chapters:

I remember feeling like I was reading a story where I associated Nie Li with Minato Namikaze based of looks, or a version of Naruto where he wouldn't be dumb and goofy.

Spoiler: Chapter Seven

He discovered the girl training by herself in the woods. Turns out he was aware of her training and her condition, as well as knowing the method to heal it. Though, I could understand why the girl would be skeptical of it though, it does sound a little perverse sounding.

She couldn't believe he was being genuine and thus missed most of the important parts, asking him to explain it again so she could write it down.

Spoiler: Chapter Eight

It would seem that he's gaining a fan. It seems she is curious to know more about what he's learning and how he knows how to treat her. The ending to this chapter was certainly not what I expected to see happening.

I was wrong. It was actually something pretty safe. Though, from his description, it sounds like it was more serious than he expected. Good thing he was there to heal her! Seems like the MC has a new girl with a crush on him.

I wonder if the future has been altered now and his romance path changed to reflect it.

Ooh, juicy. It seems like I was right. She's developing a crush on him! The whole class is in an uproar about her approaching his seat in the classroom. Gonna be interesting to see how this plays out the next chapter.
