Talent-wise Naruto underestimated

here's the deal; I'll admit naruto does work hard if you admit he is very lucky. sure he worked hard and trained a lot but he was handed the kyuubi and is an uzimaki. not only that but his parents were both experts at seals and were even able to seal themselves inside him to help him at various points. even other jinks didn't get that. another bonus was meeting bee which I'm sure would have helped many other jinks as well.

you can cite as many hard work scenarios as you want and I'm sure I can name just as many places he got lucky or had an advantage over other ninjas. lets agree to the fact that a large amount of hard work and a large amount of luck went into creating the naruto that is today.

They just drew the short stick, some people are just born with advantages and others well they get screwed. Its like how people are born in social status, I was born in middle class and I will have to work hard just to keep that status. Royalty is born royalty and they have a much easier time maintaining it.

But I basically agree with your claim. The OP Ninja are just lucky, I suspect we will learn how Hashirama got OP, and the story is probably no different, with him just being born with advantages.

Naruto has more potential, but not more talent. Which is extremely weird. Can't really explain it. And as far as intelligence, Naruto is maybe the best at heat of the moment tactics. He comes up with some pretty brilliant stuff on the spot. I guess having Kurama adds to his potential lol. Also learning Sage Mode. And his aptitude with Shadow Clones vastly improved his capacity to learn new techniques, etc.

I don't think he is necessarily an extremely gifted ninja, though he is undeniably talented (being Minato's son), I just find it hard to admit that a self-proclaimed failure is more talented than a genius (not necessarily Sasuke though, who is nowhere near as talented as his brother). I don't even know where I stand on this issue anymore, I agree that his talent is underrated, but I'm not sure where to rank him as far as pure talent

Sharingan is Heir to the Uchiha's, cry to Kishi if you're mad about that. Sasuke was still a genius before the Sharingan. Naruto on the other hand was the dumbest, which is why the two had to be paired up to balance things out. The smartest with the retard.
