Takigakure

Takigakure wasnt present in todays chapter.
They got into possession of Choumei, the 7tails bijou.

When do you think this happened?

Kiri: 3 and 6 tails.
Iwa: 4 and 5 tails.
Kumo: 2 and 8 tails.
Suna: kept 1 tails + was given land and money.
Konoha: kept 9 tails (and 7 tails for a while?)

The only one you can give the 7 tails to, during the five kage meeting, is Suna.
If Konoha kept both the 9 and 7 tails for a while, than it woulnt really be a power balance (Suna only having the 1 tails doesnt seem like balance to me either though =D, but they wanted that themselfs).

Does anyone have any guesses or idea's about how and when the 7 tails Choumei, was into posession of Takigakure?

Edit: Takigakure wanted to assasinate Hashirama.
If they were given the 7 tails bijou, one can question why they did so.
Maybe they got into posession of the 7 tails, in some other way.

Both of you have not read the thread.

Takigakure wasnt sitting at that table in todays chapter.
So we dont know when the 7 tails was given (edit: if it was given).
We dont know when Takigakure came into existence.
We dont know what Hashirama did with the 7 tails, before he gave it to Takigakure (Edit: if it was given) or if he had already done so, before that five kage meeting.

If Hashirama kept both the 7 and 9 tails for Konoha for a while, than it obviously wouldnt be much of a power balance, as explained in my opening post.

We dont know if what Hashirama did with the 7 tails before he gave it to Takigakure or if he had already done so, before that five kage meeting.

The point is discussing what Hashirama did with the 7 tails Choumei and when.
We know Takigakure had it at some point, but we dont know when.
We also dont know if Hashirama kept it for a while himself.
If he did so, than it obviously wasnt a power balance
if Konoha has: 9 and 7 tails(16 tails) and the other countries had
Kumo: 2 and 8 tails (10 tails).
Iwa: 4 and 5 tails (9 tails).
Kiri: 3 and 6 tails (9 tails).
Suna: 1 tails (1 tails >_<) and land + money.

Basically it is a thread, with sharing idea's, about how and when Takigakure obtained the 7 tails Choumei.

Because based on how Tobirams acted, it seems clear they weren't about to relocate Tailed Beasts until they had Breen paid. This likely concludes Chomei was kept at Konoha at this point.



Probably out of prise from not being considered a great village, Kakuzu was sent to assassinate Hashirama. Most likely Kakuzu showed something either by strength or pride,nd Hashirama gave over Chomei as a token of respect.

Alternatively, it could be after learning of what Kakuzu's failed assassination caused the Ex-Takigakure shinobi, Hashirama gave it away under an impression of guilt.


I'm interested to find out.

They should've given hachibi to Suna and nanabi to kiri, that way everyone had 9 tails.

EDIT:

Kakuzu was sent to assasinate hashirama around the time the village was formed.. so probably kakuzu is the dude behind the first mizukage.. and he split of from kirigakure to become part of the newly formed takigakure.

I presume Hashirama was originally intending to give Chomei to Suna, but since they wanted land and money instead, he gave it to someone else (Takigakure).

Perhaps Hashirama gave it to them in order to create peace between them. Remember they hated Hashirama, and tried to kill him by sending Kakuzu, then as he failed he left the village and killed the elders.

You mean Choumei to Kumo and Hachibi to Suna?
