Takeno is a quiet kid in the village of Tsumigakure. He is artistic, and can be seen drawing in certain things when he is logging in different fights, encounters, and plants. He has a love for plants, and will usually do a mission simply to find new plant life. He isn’t as socially awkward as he was when he first started off in the village after spending months with the people in the village. He can get very sidetracked, which makes doing missions by himself or with a team a hassle, and most times he would rather shy away from conflicts than actively participate in fighting. But in the face of absolute danger, Takeno will never give up on himself, or his family of Tsumigakure. |

History He grew up in a family of storytellers. His father being the expert craftsman and his mother a jonin within the Amegakure ranks would tell him stories of the Akatsuki rebellion, and their three protectors: Konan, Yahiko, and Nagato. They told of the grand feats of Amegakure in the third Shinobi War, and their impact on the global power structure. Konan mesmerized young Takeno as a child. He was too young to learn the paper techniques before he left Amegakure as a child, so his mother tried to see if he had the ability to use the KG. The two tried day in and day out for almost a month, yet no sign of any semblance of chakra control seemed to rest within the young boy. Takeno discouraged, ran from home one of these days of self doubt and loathing. He did what he always did in these situations: get his sketch book, and draw his emotions. Be would create marvelous works of art fueled from his self pity and hatred. But this time was different, for before him stood the white and black bear Kusasōgen was known for, and Takeno had stepped into its territory. The bear naturally saw Takeno as a threat, and taking charge ran to attack Takeno. The bear pulled up its claws ready to attack. Takeno saw this as his forsaken end, yet he stood there for too long... he peered up, and looked as paper from his journal rushed to protect him from the bears attack. The bear discouraged retreated to its den to protect its young. Takeno looked at the torn pages, hope in his eyes and his mind set to the future Now he is 16. He had left his parents about three years ago on an exploring caravan. Here he started to create his own encyclopedia of herbs and plants, while living with the nomatic people he traveled with. He had explored the expansive Land of Fire and some isles in the water archipelago. He had just started his adventure in the Badlands of Earth, when he stumbled across a village in the Graveyard of Sin. He was lost from his main caravan, and had zero guidance through these lands, the the Kage, Sado came in and swept the young explorer into his village. Here he met new friends and allies in Tsumigakure, and finally shed his nomatic lifestyle He was now at home, and would not let anyone take this newfound home away from him. |

Apex Handseal Specialist (Suiton) Takeno can use suiton based ninjutsu without the need of handseals, only needing to go through the motions of the move to cast. Artist Takeno is an artist. As such he has developed the ability to use ink based ninjutsu without the need of a scroll, but simply by painting in the sky. |
