So you think Kakashi, who couldn't fight Zabuza for more than 30 minutes with his Sharigan activated, could created dozens of Shadow Clones after an even longer battle?

Let's do that math. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say kakashi only made 2 dozen clones (Far less than the scan actually shows.)

24 x 30 (even if the clones only stayed there 30 seconds) = 720 seconds of Activation = 12 minutes of activation, nearly half of the time he spent fighting Zabuza, in which he nearly ran out of chakra.

You think he can pull that off after a near-death battle while out of chakra?

You're showing me a scan of Kakashi making the seals for Shadow clones, because?

He made the seal, but look at all of his clones. They're using a completely different seal, but when Naruto uses Kage Bunshins, his clones make the same seal as he does. Kakashi's aren't - he used a fake seal to fool them because they aren't shinobi.

That was a thought bubble not a speech bubble. He didn't say out loud what type of clone it is.
None the less they are still shadow clones.

The Bunshin technique itself is a basic requirement to pass the Academy... so pretty much every shinobi should be able to make a clone.


We then have elemental clones that seemingly take up a little more chakra, but give the clone more combat feasibility.

Finally, we have Shadow Clones that take half of your chakra...


So yes, it comes down to chakra; however, that alone doesn't mean that it is an "easy" jutsu to use. It requires chakra precision and chakra quantity to use efficiently. Remember, Naruto sucked at chakra control early on in the series..... it took him far more chakra than normal to produce his jutsu... meaning he used over half his chakra for each clone he makes. To truly use the Shadow Clone jutsu Properly, one has to have very precise chakra use.... meaning using precisely half the chakra to make the clone. Furthermore, they have to have a HUGE quantity of chakra to even make this jutsu even useful. Otherwise they expend half their chakra on a clone... and have nothing left in the reserve tank when it fails.
