Tajima or Fugaku?

So was Fugaku, at least Tajima didn't let his clan down....Literally.

Not much you can do about being born into the climax of years of hatred. Unless you're Naruto, Sasuke or Obito i'm not sure how an individual adult is meant to undo an entire civil war mate.

He at least was self-aware of his position in ninja history and didn't enjoy what the task he was stuck with in life. Tajima and Butsuma liked beating kids and killing for the sake of it.

But Fugaku with all his ""'might""" let his clan falll down into extinction. He is not that trustworthy as leader as Tajima was - I mean he was willing to sacrifice his own sons for the clan.

Tajima lost 4 of his children to war, he was a experienced man that suffered a lot just like Butsuma. Fugaku had his child to be a traitor, and didn't protect his clan.

Tajima raised 2 legends that didn't betray the clan and died to protect family, instead of Sasuke and Itachi. In my opinion, loyalty for the family is honorable and teaching that even more.

Of course they are legends, but in the matter of protecting the village, not the clan. Unhappily just as Madara said: to protect something you must sacrifice another and in Itachi and Sasuke's case it was their own family. Izuna and Madara on the other hand were loyal and trustworthy to only family. I would prefer to have them as my relatives than Sasuke and Itachi, just saying.

Itachi wanted to protect the village and the clan but Konoha elders wanted Uchiha clan dead... and he wanted to protect Sasuke thats why he even did it. You think its easy to make a decision like that? sometimes you have to choose...

Well, Tajima could have made peace as the possible clan leader with Butsuma, but he, just like you said, chose to protect family, and maybe it's the same thing to Itachi, but instead of making peace with the Senju it was the village. It was in my opinion the same situation, but both of them chose differently.

He did kill a lot of Uchiha that were his relatives, saving just Sasuke doesn't mean he sacrificed his entire "family", the Uchiha clan, that by the way, now is in decline. Tajima wouldn't let that happen, even if his children had to grow up faster than the normal.

By what feats?? The only feat fugaku has is filler, they have the same amount of canon feats, except one didn't sit there and let his son and some forgotten halfwit slaughter his clan

Who was the most powerful and important father?

Tajima: the father that raised 2 legends, Madara and Izuna, and survived until adulthood in a harsh war time, fighting alone the Senju leader Butsuma.

Fugaku: the father of Itachi and Sasuke, the last Uchiha that tried to protect the Uchiha name like no other. Had MS and was plotting a plan to destroy Konoha.
