[Spoilers] Tailed beasts and breaking genjutsu

Lots of people assumed that Bee and other perfect jinchuriki were immune to genjutsu because the beast could disturb the flow of chakra and end the genjutsu.

However, in the latest chapter we see Bee placed under a genjutsu and we see the 8 tails yelling for him to wake up...

Its not the 8 tails who saves bee though, as Bee thanks Samehada when he wakes up...

So samehada can help break genjutsu, but the tailed beast wasnt able to...at least not in time before samehada did.

I pointed out in another thread that the danzou said the 3 tails host was like Bee, and yet Tobi had him mind controlled while he was the Mizukage...

Perhaps the genjutsu of a sharingan can influence a jinchuuriki.
Genjutsu is a speciality of the sharingan.

Finally, people get it. Tsukuyomi would work on Bee - Itachi's 3 day one, it only takes a second and Hachibi is too slow. Even Naruto yelled at Bee to avoid tsukuyomi

I don't think he would have enough time if it was itachis tsukoyomi.

His only lasts a second, but makes you feel like it's days.

The damage would be done by the time he got out of it IMO.

The thing is there isn't enough time for samehada or 8 tails to take him out of tsukiyomi because by the time they do he will fall to the ground like kakashi due to trauma

If hachibi can do it, it will still take time, and with genjutsu, that extra time is dangerous.

i don't think he used tsukiyomi because if he did bee would fall down due trauma of experiencing 3 days of hell

Ummm yeah everyone knows that already.

You missed the point.

Lots of people claimed that Bee was immune to genjutsu because the 8 tails could IMMEDIATELY disturb the chakra flow as soon as the get caught in it.

The point I made is that hachibi was SCREAMING at be to wake up. He wasnt able to immediately break him out of it.

In fact kishi used 2 exclamation points (!!) that shows that hachibi was freaking out because bee wouldn't wake up.

it wasnt a genjutsu that controled the mizukage, it was a mind control tech that shisu knew and tobi aswell...and during the sasuke vs bee fight, bee broke out..... anddddd he knew he was in a genjutsu and wasnt worried at all (granted it wsnt tsukuyomi)... with same by his side he is safe i believe...

Bee. CaN be caught in genjutsu just like anyone can. But bee has external chakras like his the 8 tails.

This chapter was just to show samhada can sent chkra to bee to break the spell too. This was more a foreshadowing that kisame with samahada could deal with itachi.
