Naruto never got a power-up in that fight at all. It was the first time Kurama gathered Natural Energy, however even Naruto could gather NE at a fate rate by himself in BM mode:

I do not really see where Kurama seems surprised. He only says that he amassed a bit too much. Does that seem odd considering that he derives from the Juubi which is natural energy being itself?

The manga clearly showed hints of Naruto gathering Senjutsu with his Kurama chakra/mode. What they never showed was the Susano'o ever having the ability to be used like a Gedo:

Which leads that power to be an "ass-pull" power up all together. Now tell me again where Senjutsu and Kurama were never hinted together? Since chapter 450+ and higher. So, try again.

RSM Naruto > Rinnegan Sasuke
RSM Naruto = Rinnegan Sasuke /w Bijuu
In their base RSM vs. Rinnegan Sasuke, Naruto never even fought back. He never went on the offensive, nor did he try to attack first. He only stayed on the defensive. It was already proven a long time ago that RSM Naruto > Rinnegan Sasuke during the Kaguya fight. So that equal thing is only in your mind. Sorry
Perfect Susano'o could not handle Kaguya's chakra arms at all. Mind you, this is one of strongest if not his strongest defensive technique.

Not to mention the fact that Sasuke only landed a hit with his Perfect Susano'o when Naruto canonically blitzed her arm off. So she dealt with a PS with only a left arm, which is pretty hilarious considering the fact that base RSM could handle her power far longer than Sasuke in one of his strongest, if not his strongest defensive technique.
