Tailed beast and Madara thought

So if Kurama(9tails) was controlled by the real madara at some point in the story, wouldnt kurama had noticed that the masked man(before we knew it was obito-_-) was indeed not madara uchiha? couldnt he had sensed or noticed something slightly off about him?

He always knew that it was not Madara's chakra. But it does not mean that he knew it would be Obito, as well he would not care about it...

But by the time him and Naruto became friends.. he already knew that it was Obito. Kurama really had no reason to tell them anything.

Kurama thought it was Madara all along until recently. I'd think it was the same person controlling me for a long time if that was the only person I knew was capable of doing so.

it is kind of irrelevant since the progress the manga has made so far, for a tiny matter...

but he wouldn't have cared... obito probably would have convinced him that he was madara
