I just want to dedicate this thread to how incredible Neji, Rock lee, Gai are as characters. Rock lee is the embodiment of hard work, and result of hard work. Rock lee has probably got to be one of the most overlooked character in naruto, and Gai's crimson speech to defend Taijutsu just shows how much these two individuals worked hard. Gave me so much chills and motivation.

This isnt a wank thread, this is just me reminiscing and thinking about how far Neji, Lee, and Gai have come since Naruto first season, and just how much they have to give up, jsut to be able to perform as good as a ninjutsu user.

While everyone can create huge beasts out of thin air, these 3 train their bodies to dish the same amount of effort if not better.

Sure but I don't think Neji had to work that hard since he was born in the Hyuga Clan , Rock lee worked the hardest

No entirely. As a member of the support branch of the Hyuga Clan, Neji had to work his butt off to show he was just as skilled and talented as main member branches. He also had to rise over his own animosity for the main branch and Hinata in particular. He may not have had to work as hard physically, but mentally he had to put his all into it to rise above.

OT: I agree. Rock Lee and Neji were among my favs in part one. Wish they had more panel/screen time in Part II but what little they had I was always glad to see.....

Taijutsu was boss this entire series. Really Loved to see Gai and Lee use the 8 Gates Techinaue. Lee's Druken Fist was special in Part 1 and then when Gai opened the 8th Gate is was beyond great. TY to the Taijutsu masters.

I guess you do have a point, but in terms of just general leader ship, and being able to guide. Neji worked really hard, having to realise that it takes more than destiny to be great. To me seems like hard work as well. He had to change a huge piece of his personality. you know?

I agree with you man, taijutsu made me love naruto so much. When i watched Lee vs Gaara, you wont beleive how hyped i was, how muc hi jumped out of my seat. (that has never happened since GOku vs Vegeta). Taijutsu should've been naruto's main focus. Im just happy we got enough of every element of combat in the series.

Absolutely agree here. Taijutsu is by far my favorite branch of abilities in the Narutoverse for sure!

Dude it was not Neji's fault. If anything it was that Hyuuga Elder's fault for placing that curse upon Neji.

I dont really blame him either, he was depressed and pretty pissed off at his own clan. That made him decide that, you're either born great or you're not.

Dude Lee should have won that fight. Man when I saw that Gaara won I was like screw this series. Lee really deserved for all of his hard work. No offense to Gaara but I really didn't like Part 1 Gaara.

I agree man, i was so pissed off. The ending made me feel so bad for him too, now that i think about it. That kind of like the Paq vs Mayweather fight, the people's champion lost.

Neji was born with talent/Natural Talent. He also came to believe that the course of a person's life was determined from the moment of their birth and could be altered under no circumstances

Dude it was not Neji's fault. If anything it was that Hyuuga Elder's fault for placing that curse upon Neji.

Neji became spiteful towards the members of the main house for what he believed they'd done to his father
