Excellent job with that response, an interesting way of building up momentum to strike my clone. With that much power, he would probably go flying in the air you aimed at instead of simply falling down though.
But this jutsu also introduces several new concepts in Taijutsu.
Firstly, why is it important to maintain balance in Taijutsu?
Thanks. ^^
Though, this answer may not be as good as my last lol.
Balance. Well, without maintaining your balance, you can't get a good footing, so you wouldn't be able to strike your opponent with as much force as you possibly could. Also, without balance, it'd be a lot harder defending against attacks, seeing as your primary concern would be to regain your balance so you're not caught out by a jutsu or so you don't end up falling to the ground, where you're even more vulnerable?
No, it's great! You are completely correct. By being thrown off balance, it makes you extremely vulnerable and that is the keypoint.
However, we must tie this into body weight. What do you know of this?

This is going to be the randomest answer, ever. @__@
But, body weight, and depending on how you attack your opponent could cause you to lose balance and become vulnerable?
So, if you throw yourself at some, they could use your own body weight/momentum against you and side step, whilst applying more force to push you further and faster into the direction you're already heading, and with a simple foot, they could simultaneously trip you up, causing you to crash into the groun! o_o'
or maybe I'm making things up. xD
Exert the force and momentum you've gathered by performing a simple step forward with one your legs? So, like, when you trip up sometimes you perform a quick step forward with one of your legs, in order to try stay balanced again, I imagine this works in the same way.
Good, good. Hands, palm facing down, placed before your chest, bent slightly with stiffened muscles, to be exact. Minimizes the impact and you can also "bounce" back on your palms to your original position.
(Konoha Reppū) - Leaf Gale
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points:10
Description: This technique is a good example of how even simple taijutsu can become a pre-eminently destructive, lethal technique. The attack is a simple rear spinning low kick, but a strong enough user can send a large adult flying as if they weighed nothing. The goal is to throw the enemy off balance, and deal damage to the lower half of their body.
Now, what do you know of feints and how to utilize them?

First thing to come to mind is what Naruto did to one of the paths. Not sure if you remember but he kinda countered the paths' punch and carried on moving his left hand to the left side, making sure that path's eyes were on his left hand, whilst his right hand was aiming to strike the path in the face. In short, it's basically deceptive attacks, where you do one thing to mask what you're really aiming to do?
How to utilize them, I may need a little help on that. D:
Yes, the keyword there, is deceptive attacks.
And well, you see, the point here is the body weight. You force the opponent to give it all they have to defend, while you barely put in any effort, saving it for the real attack.
So, proceed to perform for me this, as I will emphasize later on.
Begin running at my clone now.
When you get in range of him, aim a kick towards the top section of his body (explain the reasoning behind this), then directly afterwards, kick with your other foot towards his rib cage (explain the impact this has), and proceed to finish him off with several more kicks of your choice.

*I launch off the ground, running towards your clone. Once I reach short range of him, I begin to prepare for a set of attacks by using my left foot to send me flying off the ground, whilst my right foot is aimed straight towards the centre of his chest, aiming to bruise his muscles, leaving him in pain, thus more susceptible to my later attacks. Furthermore, the kick it self would have enough force to send him tumbling back as he struggles to keep from falling to the ground.
Following up, as your clone tumbles back due to my first kick, I'd land on the ground only to get into a low stance only to make two quick steps in an arc, to my left, before propelling myself off the ground once more and swinging my left foot towards the right side of my body, smashing it into the right side of the clone's body, cracking his rib slightly and causing him to fall to the left side of his body as he struggles to keep his balance. As he's on the floor, I simply finish the set of attacks of by doing a frontal flip and digging my heal into his stomach, causing the clone to be temporarily winded*
HE'S ALIVE?!
Excellent detail. I'll teach you a bit more about Taijutsu now.
Running allows for great momentum if you also stomp down with your dominant foot AND then punch. Especially if you use your weaker hand, it makes up for the lack of power due to your stable footing.
Make sure you state which leg you use to kick with at all times.
I'll be even more specific here. If you ever played those old retro games where you have to either duck, jump, or reflect projectiles coming at you to kill a boss, it's like that a bit with the feint. If you aim towards the head, your opponent would most likely duck to avoid it, and if you aim towards the bottom, your opponent will also jump to avoid it. Either way, you should be able to follow up if you can predict his actions.
Furthermore, breaking his rib cage could sometimes cause instant death if the bone pierces the heart. If you simply break it, then it would cause labored breathing and shortness of breath, which greatly impacts your opponent's physical ability as the lungs will not have enough oxygen to send it to the brain and the muscles. (Holy shit, health class from four years ago.)
(Konoha Senpū) - Leaf Hurricane
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 10
Description: A taijutsu where one launches a succession of high kicks and low kicks. Firstly, the opponent's evasion margin is restrained upon seeing the high kick, thus augmenting the chances for the low kick to hit the mark connecting to the rib cage area. So originally the high kick is little more than a feint.
You better have read all that, Erzo. >_O
For this next move, take advantage of gravity by first allowing your body to be propelled backwards.
Then, with a surge of chakra, rise back up with your dominant leg and take advantage of the momentum by delivering a hard kick to my clone, sending him into the air. Single kick, single leg.

:scorps:
The speed of your replies scare me to this very day.
*As instructed, I first go over to your newly made clone, seeing as how the other one should be injured and unable to stand (>.> <.<). Whilst being in front of your clone, I simply proceed to fall backwards, almost as if my body was going to lay across the ground with my chest/face facing the sky, however, as I'm falling back, I simply raise my right foot upwards, aiming to hit the bottom of your chin, sending you flying into the sky as I hit the ground*
When I re-read my move, I understand what I'm doing but I don't understand I can relate it to a metronome or ball on a string being pushed back and forth. ._.
Exactly. So like the weight is being transferred from one position to the other...

Description: This technique uses the entire body as a spring, by amassing power through taking a posture where the back of the body falls down. With this powerful taijutsu, the user kicks just above the head. Because the power of the kick from the ground is instantly converted into a blow, the enemy hit with this attack will be launched high into the sky.
Alright, instead of knocking my clone up into the air now, concentrate on the ground instead. Strike him down the the palm of your hand so that he crashes into the earth beneath him.

Yosh.
Roy runs up to your newly made clone/old recovering clone before suddenly launching off of the ground and into the aerial space which covers the area above your clone, preparing the palm of his right hand as he opens up his palm before tensing it up, not wanting to do damage to his own hand. Before reaching your clone, it'd suddenly look up, towards the incoming ninja, as he/she/it does so, Roy would slam his palm down at an angle, towards the clones face, causing him/her/it to crash down, towards the ground.
Well done. I don't think you've missed anything. xD
