Taijutsu is what??

Rock lee doesn't need ninjutsu or genjutsu to perform taijutsu. The sage created ninjutsu and gave it to everybody, but what about taijutsu was it already there before ninjutsu? or is it somhow connected to ninjutsu?

Also, do you think Guy could do some damage against Madara? I think he could win some time but that would be it.

I think it did exist before ninjtusu. notice how many shinobi know, but not all excel in it. Maybe people started discarding it for excelling in ninjutsu.

taijutsu is just fighting the good old way(gates count as advanced taijutsu i guess....kind alike the gentle fist, since they both like include chakra control and such)

Basic taijutsu existed before chakra because all it requires is the body, its basically martial arts. When chakra was given to humans taijutsu got alot more powerful( through transfering chakra to the point of impact to increase force).

It comes from overwhelming physical strength as well as Chakra being amplified into this.


The human body has a rather high amount of strength on its own. For instance, if allowed to use all the muscles at once, one can perform actions such as lifting vehicles.

Apply that to a manga where manga physical strength is ludicrously amplified THEN give that power chakra amplification... yeah you bust mountains.


Gai's strength is coming form his overwhelming physical fitness, and what seems to be boosting is an insane amount of chakra speeding throughout the body.

Taijutsu means your real life martial arts. Of-course the level of real world's martial arts is no where near 8 gates level but real world martial artists too believe and use(acc. to them) chakra or chi or ki or whatever you want to call it. Watched discovery?
