Taijutsu is underrated

I mean really I think taijutsu is seriously underrated now adays and I could understand with all this commotion of Amaterasu rinnegan techs susanoo ect but I mean really taijutsu is the basic to fighting and Is very crucial to the narutoverse not only that but I mean really we have people that can punch through friggin mountains and run at the speed of light pretty much I think that some of the taijutsu should come out more in the series

I mean their ninjas and that's why theirs ninjutsu, hence the name

I totally agree, Taijutsu is often overshadowed by all the more showy jutsu that we see at this stage of the manga. The fact of the matter still remains that even the highest level shinobi with the coolest techniques require a very high level of Taijutsu as well.

The two need to be in balance, for instance Sauske may have EMS, and a whle bunch of OP techniques, but even he needs a basic level of Taijutsu for defence and attack, especially when you consider his use of a sword.

I'm not sure if he will or not.. Because wouldn't Gai die if he opened the 8th Gate? Im pretty sure that Kishi doesn't want Gai to die, but eh, maybe he will. He already took out Jiraiya... That bastard...

I don't think it is as underrated as it is underused. The last time it made a legitimate appearance was the Kakashi fighting with Hidan... with all the ninjutsu getting thrown around in the war, taijutsu has been rendered useless, unless you're lucky enough to be fighting just white zetsus . Hinata, Neji, Rock Lee, and Guy are all specialize in taijutsu. They all luckily fought against opponents primarily use taijutsu (Zetsus and 7 swordsmen). The Byakugan has been rendered useless except for scouting and Rock Lee and Guy luckily have the gates to boost their speed and strength.

So true. Taijutsu is the coolest thing on earth in that anime. I love to watch it. It looks just too cool and is alot more realistic than all that magic stuff (I know it is not magic but it's unrealistic, period). I find it sad that taijutsu isn't shown alot more but I think the reason is that it's the most difficult to draw. Just my thoughts.

because in taijutsus there is the use of physical body if you put it in that way... and using your body causes more strain then that of the chakra.. that is why people prefer ninjutsus and genjutsus over taijautsu...

The Hyuga Clan should be really dominant. 64 palms, can shut put someones entire chakra system, then they can RAPE with the gentle fist technique. If they Byakugan had some other more powerful form like the bullshit sharigan they would be formidable. Didn't the Sharigan originate from Byakugan?
