I'll be using the Cloud bio in my sig - Just post a link to your bio and you may have the pleasure of posting first.

The terrain is just a simple grass paddock.

Nostalgia is a yearning for the past, so I wouldn't say it was good or bad o-o

Mifune: If you insist..

As I utter these words, I drop a smoke bomb clouding your vision of me, and mine of you temporarily. From within the smoke cloud, I throw three shuriken towards your last seen location (Done immediately after the pluming of the smoke). The first comes directly for you, while the other two come from your left side in arcs. The shuriken that come towards you in an arc pattern are laced with gunpowder, along with pre-determined fracture points and explosive tags folded up onto them (So that from your point of view, they would be relatively unidentifiable as the shuriken come towards you).

At the point in which the shuriken would be within very close proximity with you, I jump into the air as you are distracted by the projectiles. My jump leads me towards you from above. I then regain my vision of you while in the air, and prepare my next attack

Cloud looked towards his opponent quite intently, his gaze watching as Mifune dropped a smoke bomb and vision of both fighters had been abruptly disconnected. Almost immediately after the smoke had been produced, a single Shuriken penetrated directly through the smoke and headed towards Cloud, whilst another 2 Shuriken looped around in an arc to attack him from his left hand side. With more than enough time to react to each of the attacks, Cloud glances quickly from side to side then up, making sure nothing else was coming before it would be his turn to present a counter attack - And when he was positive that nothing else was coming for him, the Shinobi reached into his pouch and withdrew 3 of his own shuriken, using precision aiming - His first throw would deflect the shuriken that had come through the smoke whilst he now looked to his left at the Shuriken that would reach him slightly later due to their curved trajectory unlike their counterpart which traveled in a straight path and he simply flicked both of his wrists, the Shuriken he had in each hand leaving almost momentarily and were once again on a trajectory path with the other thrown projectiles.

Cloud's gaze now turned back towards the first Shuriken he threw and the echoing sound of metal colliding fills the air as both Shuriken abruptly clash with each other, falling to the ground. Within a few moments, the same echoed sound of metal clashing filled the air once again and all 3 Shuriken which had been thrown towards him had all been effectively cancelled out - This was now his turn for a counter attack, and though he looked, he seemed to have lost sight of his opponent - Though not for very long at all. A large movement in the sky immediately caught his attention and there Mifune was, though this had worked out quite well for Cloud because Mifune was now on a set trajectory towards the ground and he would need to try and use this to his advantage. Cloud immediately reached behind into his Pouch and withdrew a single Kunai, holding both of them in his left hand, whilst his right hand motioned towards his hip where his Katana sat in its black sheathe. Cloud bent his knees slightly and applied chakra to the bottom of his feet to power his jump, sending himself upward into the sky though on a path that would take him towards his opponent - Yet he held back on the power as to begin falling when Mifune was still above him. With both Shinobi now in the air, Cloud lifted his left arm back and waited until he had closed the distance slightly with his opponent before he released the Kunai with as much force as he could muster, hurling it towards his opponent's abdomen.

With his right hand now, Cloud gripped the Tsuka of his Katana and with a single swift motion, unsheathed the black blade - Gripping it tightly whilst his left hand bent slightly at the elbow and ready to move at a moment's notice should he need it, though his eyes locked onto the Kunai which had all but closed the distance to his opponent and he had hoped to inflict some form of damage early into the fight, though he didn't get his hopes up too high on something as simple as this working.

I follow and slash downwards, performing a Two-Handed Vertical Slash, cutting deep into your flesh as my sword cuts you down the right side of your chest. The result is a non-superficial cut.

Afterwards as I land back on the ground, I quickly re-sheathe my blade, and perform a roundhouse kick to your right temple, sending you fumbling over to your left.

Being that you decided to take out some sweet time to inspect your surroundings, this makes my attack almost full proof.

*Now jumping*

As you attempt to deflect my shuriken, I perform the Snake handseal, detonating the two shuirken with explosive tags before you have the chance to jump. Cloud heard an explosion to his left, though he wasn't sure what it was - He couldn't see anything his opponent did that would make an explosion, especially on that side. With his attention drawn over to that side now, Cloud felt small sections of his body getting extremely hot, like he was on fire... Though when he looked down, he felt the warm dripping sensation of his blood begin to rush out of several small wounds he had on the left hand side of his body. Severe pain hit his body and of the shrapnel which hit him, a small wound appeared on his left forearm where it looked as if a bullet had gone in and out of his arm, there were cuts on his leg and he figured he probably had another piece of shrapnel buried in his thigh, along with 2 small holes to the left of his abdomen.

Cloud took short and sharp breaths now, his vision turning back to his opponent who took on a 'Jodan Kendo' stance - With his sword being wielded with both hands and above his head, preparing to make a vertical cut down what appeared to be the right side of Cloud's body. Reaching for the Tsuka of his blade, Cloud quickly unsheathed his sword and held it in his right hand tightly with what he called a 'reverse grip' - Characterized with the blade end of the sword protruding from the pinky side of the finger, aside from the index finger side - and with his left hand, he clutch a Kunai tightly. His eyes watching his opponent now and when he was just out of striking range, Cloud made his movement. Cloud stepped diagonally forward, raising his right hand to meet his opponent's blade and angling the sword as to send the momentum of his opponent's attack away from his body - Though this wasn't all.

With his opponent's sword having clashed with his own, the power and momentum along with gravity had caused his right arm to bend slightly, however to counter this, Cloud performed a small pivot clockwise with his right foot and threw his left arm around as fast as he could. Due to his opponent's current position, specifically being both hands on the sword hilt and it being deflected to his left, Cloud wanted to take advantage of the open right handed side of his opponent's body and, should everything go according to plan, Cloud would pierce his opponent with a moderately deep cut on the right side of his abdomen - Something which was not lethal and would not end the fight, however it was still a cut which would cause pain and lots of bleeding.

Glancing around takes more than a few seconds to confirm that there is no impending threat, otherwise you might as well not do it, try and be realistic (As Sakura demonstrated in the beginning of Shippuden when fighting against Kakashi, and he hid underground). I'm also unsure of what would make you glance around before stopping the shuriken, if you did that, you'd probably be in better condition. And not to be rude, but I'm not retarded, I'm obviously going to make sure to avoid the shrapnel through some means, and I did it by jumping in the air.

I watch you carefully as you parry my slash, and do your pivot motion. As you try and stab me, I do an arc step to my right (your left), and impale you through your left lung at the moment your stabbing motion reaches its peak.

At this point the left side of your body is already pretty damaged, so mustering a defense would be quite tasking in such condition.

As Cloud's opponent had avoided the stabbing attempt with the kunai wielded in the left hand, he had then performed an arc step and was now wanting to pierce Cloud through his chest with his blade. Cloud reacted by seemingly leaning his body back whilst pushing his left foot off the ground with as much force as he could. At the same time though, and due to the way he was holding his sword in his right hand, Cloud moved his arm down and the clash of metal echoed in his ears whilst he pushed the attack away from his body altogether and parried the stab diagonally downward . Because both of his opponent's hands were on the blade's hilt (You haven't stated otherwise) - Cloud used the momentum from pushing off his left leg, as well as using his blade to hold himself up because of the force his opponent had on it to twist his body around and perform a left back heel to his opponent's stomach - Aiming specifically for the floating rib, hoping to break it... But also to push his opponent back a few meters and give himself some more room.
