Intel: Gai knows about Frog Kata and Sage Mode's mechanics, Naruto knows about Gai's arsenal
Conditions: This is pre Rikudou powerup Naruto. Gai starts in 6G and Naruto starts in SM. Only Taijutsu is allowed (Frog Kata counts if someone doesn't think it's taijutsu, also Asa Kujaku and Hirudora too) and the modes for both combatants will last until one of them dies. If this is too much in favour for Naruto, unrestrict 7G and Hirudora but allow a max of 10 Kage Bunshins for Naruto. 8G is restricted for obvious reasons.

At first I thought Guy would win. The gates enhance his attributes too much for this to be that much of a competition directly. Morning Peacock and Hriudora are also powerful techniques. However, with clones, and Frog Kata possibly catching Guy off-guard. Naruto might (emphasis on might) take this. The 7th gate plus 10 shadow clones restriction destroys Naruto though.

OT: This is the taijutsu department; Gai takes him down badly.

- Frog Kata is lethal in a sense that no one but SM users can sense manipulated natural energy. It deals quite a great damage as it killed Preta Path, forcing Naraka to revive it. However, Frog Kata is only as fast as the user's striking speed. Gai's striking is far faster than Naruto's as he was pushing ShitJudara back. Naruto won't be able to land a hit on him. Ever.

- Then there's this whole thing that Gai knows about Frog Kata. That means that he will see through Naruto's movements and evade from where Naruto makes his strike. Then he pummels him down to a pulp; restrictions doesn't make a difference.
