Ah I think I had read your move wrong.I think you did. Remember it's important, even there are jutsu list for taijutsu, you must be aware that what you write in description is very important timeframe wise. Specially in a taijutsu fight.
I would say, the moment you atleast throw a punch i'd be in the air. Because if you don't then how can i go into the air??
Just personal opinion. This not a critique though, i just wanted to let you know because description is important in all aspects of battling but it's specially more important in taijutsu battles.
Lets edit your description to match timeframe of what i'm doing.
As I throw the punch I watch as you jump into the air. My punch the connects with nothing but air. So without hesitating I also jump into the air following close behind. I become much like like your shadow, following your every movement. As I come level, Ill be able to catch up with you because my up ward motion is faster than your downward motion, I the thrust my palm straight forward in your chest.

Description: A technique where one follows the opponent, closely matching his or her body's movement, just like a leaf that dances in the air is followed by its shadow. The technique is usually preceded by a swift upper kick that will launch the target into the air. It is mainly used to position an opponent into a vulnerable aerial position. This move by itself is harmless, but it is usable as a stepping stone for a great many powerful techniques like Front Lotus and the Lion Combo. That said, it also has a rather high degree of difficulty.

Is that better? I didn't want to use different moves as I have a plan. >_>
