The 180 is a lower kick that delivers a strong kick towards the abdomens, but the 360 is much stronger and is aimed at the face which can possibly break necks and noses.(this is knowledge I learned from military so let me know of its different on the base)
Speaking of timing, I'd like to go over it briefly.
It is an important aspect in battles. Extremely important. By keeping good common sense, you can utilize this in detail in all your fights.
Let's say for example that your opponent had a lightning jutsu, but you had a pressurized water jutsu.
That Lightning jutsu would take longer to travel to you (range plays a HUGE ROLE in timing), and also because the Lightning is propelled only by the user itself, it would not hit you before your move.
Your pressurized water jutsu would be propelled forward due to the pressure you put on it before you released it, and also because you are standing close to your opponent (assuming we are at mid range), it would hit your opponent before you.
Use common sense when determining such things in battle, as small details missed can change a fight greatly. Range also plays a huge role, but I can go over that later.

Okay.
Let's say you were just walking along the road and I come over and stick a leg out in your path and trip you.
What happens? Describe the process.
It happens fast , if you trip me i would start to fall, but in the army back when I had my legs, we would have spars, and I was tropes lnce and I had like a 1 second window to catch myself and I did
Good!
Alright, you've got the hang of balance now, good job. Remember, kicking with your dominant leg is always stronger, however, if you have follow up moves, it makes it weaker.
Now, let's do something similar again.
This time, my clone will be running towards you. However, you will aim to trip him with one leg only.
Toss him into the air after delivering a low 360 kick to the lower part of his legs. Tell me which direction the clone flies in.
As your clone runs at me, I sweep trip him by slightly angling my body I the right, than immediatly place my left hand to the ground and dragging my left heal across your clones left side lifting his whole body into the air as if he was laying on his side and than I immediatly thrust my right leg onto a 360 kick directly into his right knee(in real time this is how he would be laying sideways) making him fly like a windmill to the left. (Note on real time this is happening in like 3 seconds)
Brilliantly executed. Keep in mind what I said earlier about throwing the enemy off balance.

Description: This technique is a good example of how even simple taijutsu can become a pre-eminently destructive, lethal technique. The attack is a simple rear spinning low kick, but a strong enough user can send a large adult flying as if they weighed nothing. The goal is to throw the enemy off balance, and deal damage to the lower half of their body.
Alright, now, begin running at my clone for good momentum and power.
When you get in range of him, aim a kick towards the top section of his body (explain the reasoning behind this), then directly afterwards, kick with your other foot towards his rib cage (explain the impact this has), and proceed to finish him off with several more kicks of your choice.
i start running at your clone with momentum and power aimed towards my legs. immediatly after i reach your clone, i whip my left leg over the right side of my body to kick you in the upper body, immedialtly followed with an in air sweep kick with my right leg that kicks you directly in the rib cage. the reasoning behind the kick to the upper section is to first suprise you and some what stun you, secondly to give a little opening for the kick to the ribs that serves as the main part of the attack. The kick to the ribs also knocks the breath out of you making you hunch over. i then immediatly knee you with my right knee making your upper body shoot back up, immediatly followed with several round house kicks to the stomach.
Excellent detail. I'll teach you a bit more about Taijutsu now.
Running allows for great momentum if you also stomp down with your dominant foot AND then punch. Especially if you use your weaker hand, it makes up for the lack of power due to your stable footing.
Make sure you state which leg you use to kick with at all times.
I'll be even more specific here. If you ever played those old retro games where you have to either duck, jump, or reflect projectiles coming at you to kill a boss, it's like that a bit with the feint. If you aim towards the head, your opponent would most likely duck to avoid it, and if you aim towards the bottom, your opponent will also jump to avoid it. Either way, you should be able to follow up if you can predict his actions.
Furthermore, breaking his rib cage could sometimes cause instant death if the bone pierces the heart. If you simply break it, then it would cause labored breathing and shortness of breath, which greatly impacts your opponent's physical ability as the lungs will not have enough oxygen to send it to the brain and the muscles. (Holy ****, health class from four years ago.)
Okay.
I will move on, trusting that you've read all that.

Description: A taijutsu where one launches a succession of high kicks and low kicks. Firstly, the opponent's evasion margin is restrained upon seeing the high kick, thus augmenting the chances for the low kick to hit the mark connecting to the rib cage area. So originally the high kick is little more than a feint.
For this next move, take advantage of gravity by first allowing your body to be propelled backwards.
Then, with a surge of chakra, rise back up with your dominant leg and take advantage of the momentum by delivering a hard kick to my clone, sending him into the air. Single kick, single leg.
