Orochimaru begins facing his opponent at mid range, his sword of kusanagi interred in his mouth. He waits patiently for combat to initiate, hoping for words in the interim but not forsaking preparation. For when a snake's territory is invaded, it avoids the trespasser by coiling up or retreating. It never initiates an assault. His center of gravity low, as he utilizes the snake style. Distinguished by circular movement when delivering parries and attacks, snake style employs an upright, mobile stance as opposed to the horse stance used by most other styles. This mobile stance enables quick advances and sidestepping. Since snake stylists are taught to spring from rest to full attack, they do not use preparatory stances. Snake stylists rely on rapid, alternating jabs as well as bobbing and weaving to evade counterattacks. Orochimaru focuses his breathing in to a rhythmic pattern, staring his opponent down as his body sways slightly side to side, almost as though he was attempting to hypnotize him as he speaks calmly and coldly, to the man Kirito. He knows enough about him to be confident about this confrontation, a fairly powerful warrior Orochimaru has seen first hand his ability to fihht in close range as well as perform feats of power and dexterity.
Kirito recognized the man in front of him as nobody other than the legendary Orochimaru, a genius among ninja with a very, very, VERY high reputation for being one of the most dangerous ninja alive. He was also known to be rather insane: the man was widely considered responsible for the kidnapping and experimentation upon of several hundred infants from Konoha, after all. If Kirito could bag this mother****er, he would be rolling in dough. That, and he'd finally have some peace of mind, considering the man had pursued both Sasuke and Itachi Uchiha in the past for their Sharingan eyes, a trait Kirito shared.
It was best that he took an offensive approach: it was not wise to allow a ninja who was likely more skilled than him to take the first move. Rushing forwards, Kirito approached the crouched man rapidly, placing his right hand on the sheath of his sword. Once reaching striking range, Kirito drew the blade quickly into a crescent cut upwards, aimed across the man's left hip all the way up to his right shoulder.

The Elucidator is a night-black sword which can be wielded using one or two hands. It is double edged, is a standard 67 centimeters in length, and weighs 4.5 pounds. The handle and hilt of the sword are also black, with the cross guard taking the form of a single sided gear-like object. In theory, the blade appears to be a somewhat odd looking, but relatively simple, sword. The sword is actually quite the opposite. It actually has multiple unique abilities, each different from the last.

Abilities of the Elucidator:
Immortal Object: The Elucidator's metal is a powerful chakra steel. It can take up to S-Rank damage before being destroyed. Or rather, dispersed. The sword actually acts somewhat like a summon, returning to a sheathe on the user after being destroyed. However, even if it is not broken, the sword cannot be drawn until the next battle if it is dispersed. The sword itself can cut through techniques of hardness equal to that of B-Rank or lower. If the material is harder than Doton, and the sword can only cut through C-Rank of it.
Flawless Cut:
The Elucidator's edges are sharp enough to cut a human being and draw blood if they so much as tap the blade. This makes the sword especially unaffected by air resistance, as it is able to flawlessly cut through the air surrounding the blade during a strike. This means its cuts are extremely quick, almost 1.5x that of a standard katana being used by a warrior of similar power to the wielder of the blade.
Moonlight Empowerment:
This is the Elucidator's most powerful ability. By surging their chakra into the blade, the user will cause the sword to brightly glow in a sky blue shade. This is a sign that the blade is charging power. When using this, the blade will gain access to it's special technique (to be posted), and will have their kenjutsu with the sword empowered, dealing larger cutting and impact damage when being used, as well as gaining strike speed, becoming even faster than it usually is. This effect lasts a single turn, and costs a move to activate.
