Looks: Taek Jae-Kal has very long aquamarine hair that he often wears in a pony-tail, he also has crimson eyes which often gets him mistaken for those of the Uchiha Clan, an assumption that happens oft in battle and one Taek considered to be rather frustrating, as they often avoid eye contact when there is no need to so. Taek is depicted with fangs, many years with his uncle had caused him to develop some unusual traits, some might consider them concerning.

He often scowls, only ever changing his expression to that of a smug smirk, or a bewildered maniac when in battle. Taek has an average build, although he is quite tall for his age, his arms and legs are quite long as such his proficiency for taijutsu unmatched. Although as a child he was considered quite lanky, his uncle had muscled the young man up. Ensuring the shinobi was capable of fighting in any terrain or circumstance.

Although he doesn't wear a set outfit he can often be seen wearing blue blazers and purplish-red trousers to contrast. Earlier in his Shinobi Career, Taek often went shirtless with a black vest, with red skin tight jeans, while as time went on he began to rid himself of any clothing on his torso entirely. Taek always wears the Shark Tooth Necklace given to him by his mother around his neck. While off-duty Taek wears casual clothing like a T-Shirt with a blazer usually dark colors blue or pink, and normal black trousers. The clothing is usually comfortable and easy to fight in if it calls for it.

Personality: As a child Taek was kind-hearted and an endearing child, although he was considered a monster by most his mother made sure he received an incredible amount of love. Despite this Taek often got frustrated when kids ran away from him, treating him as if he were a Jinchuriki, often times Taek wondered if he had some sort of beast hidden deep within him. Upon forming a friendship with the sharks of the Water Archipelgo, Taek would forget completely about the way the children treated him, at this point it was irrelevant. He had a friend and he had his mother they were all he cared for.

The death of Taek's mother was a huge blow, finding his mother face down in their cottage had unparalleled psychological effects that remain with the poor lad to this day. He became pessimistic about life in general, his partner Castor taking upon this new demeanor as well. Although he remained the innocent and kind hearted boy his mother raised him to be. He was no longer naive, he knew the world was an unforgiving place, regardless he tried to fight past it to overcome it.

This however, did not last long. As the accusations started to roll in Taek become increasingly frustrated. "It's the monster boy... did you hear? He killed his poor old mother? The stupid woman tried raising a beast, what a stupid... stupid, stupid woman." Taek began to lash out at all those around him. What did it matter they already thought he was a monster. What other lies could they spread about him. The boy felt sick to his stomach, he couldn't win no matter how hard he tried.

Through the teachings of his Uncle, Taek was able to become strong. He no longer depended on others to protect him. He no longer cared much for the citizens of Water Archipelgo or the rumors they decided to spread. He distanced himself from it all and became a blank slate, a new person. For a moment Taek had something akin to hope for the future, that was until his uncle threw him into the pits. Fighting day in and day out, Taek became an animal. One who only knew to kill, and to reap the rewards.

After being invited to join the ranks of a rogue shinobi nation, Taek became more sophisticated. He was no longer the animal he once was. Now he was a trained killer, one who completed his mission no matter how. To him, the ends justified the means. He killed, stole, kidnapped and pillaged for his comrades. Convincing himself of his loyalty, convincing himself that he'd be able to climb the ranks and be respected by his peers not for being a monster, or an annoyance to the village but as a friend.

Halfway through the year that he had been invited to the upper ranks of the nation, Taek had troubling dreams. He dreamt of his mother being alive, and disapproving of what he had become. He saw flashes of his past, his mother watching as her sweet little boy pierced into the chest of a poor old lady. Taek began to blame his Uncle for his transformation. Everyday he would see him, and everyday hatred would fill his very essence. He had let his mother down, and for what? To be free, to give this ****er some spending money? These thoughts are what drove Taek to kill his own flesh and blood, and it's these thoughts that haunt Taek, and will continue to haunt the shinobi till the end of his days.

Background Info


History:

Taek's early life was an ordinary one, his mother owned a small cottage on the Outskirts of the Water Archipelgo. Taek often played in the ocean. As a strong swimmer, he was envied by the other kids. Because of this, and his ability to manipulate suiton at such a young age he had a hard time making friends. Most kids avoided him, but a few would insult and even go as far to throw rocks. Taek grew up a lonely boy with nobody to play with but the ocean itself and the many creatures that lived within it. One day Taek was swimming out in the ocean, when he encountered a whirlpool. The whirlpool formed from nowhere and the boy was suddenly drawn in. Almost as if it came out of the blue a creature appeared and carried the unconscious child to shore. The boy would later awaken to realize that that creature was indeed a shark. Why he didn't eat Taek was surprisingly the last thought in the young boy's mind, he embraced the shark thanking it for it's help. Taek would come back to play with that shark everyday, although the boy was lonely he had a loving mother and a friendly pet. His attitude was that of gratitude for his comfortable life, little did he know that would soon change.

One day the boy would walk home to his little cottage after playing to find his mother bleeding unconscious on the floor, the blood seeping into the hard wood floor, as he looked down, his mouth gaping open. Taek however didn't even weep. He was paralyzed, he stood there for three entire days. The neighbors would come in to find the boy like that, automatically assuming he had caused the death and thus they called the resident shinobi nation to handle it. The nation would find Taek guilty and decide to send him off to Blood Prison. The boy however had a savior, or so he thought. Taek had an uncle that worked within the village and he found a way for Taek to escape his fate. Taek's uncle would register him in an underground fighting ring, this was not only a cheap way to get money for his uncle but it would also prove to the nation he would be of more use within the ninja system then in prison. The boy was trained by his uncle, day in and day out. His uncle was a greedy, and merciless demon. He broke the boy to build him up even stronger than ever. The boy would fight gruesome matches with foes twice his size. This experienced shaped the boy into the cold blooded killer he is today

After having defeated over a hundred foes, the shinobi of this rogue nation decided he would need something else. Something unique to prove his worthiness. That is when Taek's uncle revealed the true monster within Taek. The boy was thought to be of the Sage Transformation Clan, a clan that was capable of passively absorbing natural energy this passive absorption as well as the mysterious fluids within the body of clan members enabled them to change portions of their body, not only this but he had some affinity for the an advanced form of chakra manipulation: smoke. Taek's uncle shared these unique qualities with his nephew and beat the knowledge into the boy everyday. The prodigy had become a demon, every match he entered was over with one blow. The shinobi would decide to accept the boy as a ninja, and had advanced him to jonin rank immediately.

Taek however was not satisfied, his life had been taken away from him. His mother murdered and by who? Why did this all happen? Taek began to blame his uncle and not long after being accepted murdered the man while he was walking through the door to enter their home. The teenager punched through the old mans chest killing him. Taek had fought many foes, but he had never killed, this was a moment of transformation. He threw the old mans body into the ocean, and lived life as a ninja. He had been shaped into a killer. A man with no morals, the young boy from the beginning of the story had a obsession. He wanted to become the strongest and the best at everything. He would defeat any man that dared to stand in his way. The best way to do that was through the rogue nation. This was the beginning of the story of Taek Jae Kal.

Taek is has increased tracking capabilities being able to track 1.5x that of what he would be able to track normally, additionally, Taek possesses enhanced physicality being able to reduce the damage of physical attacks by 20 for ninjutsu and taijutsu related techniques. Lastly Taek is faster than your ordinary shinobi, being able to travel +4 additional levels to his base speed. Due to his ability to use the Sage Transformation KG, he has an immunity to B Rank and below genjutsu. Additionally he possesses an enhanced pool of chakra as he is capable of passively absorbing Nature Energy, granting him an additional 300 Chakra Points.

(Fuuinjutsu: Kokan Ni Seizon) - Sealing Arts: Exchange For Survival

Description: This seal is laced on two places of the user, their palms, and their shoulders. The seal is basic in its usage, due to the overabundance threat of chakra absorption, the seal when placed on a variety of the users techniques, or on themselves, will activate in a violent explosion. The activation of the explosion occurs when the user or technique in question begins to have its chakra absorbed. Essentially, the chakra being absorbed will be the "key" for the seal, which will create the violent reaction. The explosion is of size and strength equivalent to the medium that is absorbing the chakra, thus the damage is proponent to the medium jutsu. The multi-rank of the jutsu allows for the seal to destroy other higher ranked jutsus despite whatever rank of the users jutsu it might be attached to, this allows for C-Ranks with the seal be able to negate the absorption of S-Ranks (the seal will automatically draw the needed chakra from the user to acceptably defend against the absorption technique). The seal is written in Kanji form (生) and means survival. Methods of placing this seal on techniques include performing earth based jutsus through the palm of the users hands or always slamming their hands on the ground to release the seal (this includes for all matter-like subjects such as steel, water, etc) for energy, they would have to be created directly from the users palm for the seal to contact it. Lastly, the explosion will be directed outward away from the user to assure no damage placed on him/herself or the technique, but rather just the medium. Though the activation/creation of this seal spends no time, when clashing against other jutsus, the laced jutsu will naturally slow down as it makes its way to the target.

Description: The property of this jutsu is simplistic in nature and only offers a use to defend against extremely advance lightning attacks. The user will place a seal on their body and release from this seal an advance form of water. The water has properties of fuuinjutsu and that of its regular counterpart. Essentially it works in two parts in an attempt to counter advance lightning. The seal portion of the technique's water will effectively absorb and seal off of the advance shape of various forms of electricity as well as the chakra of the opponent that has control of the lightning, be it focused lightning, or shaped lightning, the seal portion will act as a way to disrupt its shape and forcefully revert the lightning into regular, unfocused electricity. After this process is finished, the water portion takes over, as the water will conduct the now unfocused and chakra devoid electricity. From here, the user may now be able to have accessible usages to a momentarily active electrical source (only lasts 2 turns in the mist before both the water and electricity disperse). Even if the lightning has no shape or focus, example: Nagashi, the seal can still negate the chakra, with the water taking over its movement as well. Thus making the technique a good counter against any electrical mediums. This includes electricity that might coat other material like

Signature Techniques/Weapons: Throughout his many travels, Taek has acquired a great deal of knowledge as well as a a number of tools to enhance his combat prowess, for example Taek Jae Kal possesses Leg Weight's which enhance his kicking ability as well as his natural speed, he also possesses a unique Sage Transformation Ring which enhances the ability of his Sage Transformation Techniques and Modes. Not to mention a number of medical pills to regenerate chakra/health and or blood. Lastly, as a unique Shark Specialist, Taek Jae Kal is a Deep Blues User, a sub species of the ordinary shark, these sharks are more ferocious and powerful than your ordinary shark and as such Taek's shark summoning techniques are capable of competing with elemental techniques and also significantly stronger.

(Kimera, Sshizen no Fukushū no Sainan) — Chimera, Nature's Vengeful Calamity

Description: Chimera is a single ring composed of solid, silver earthen minerals, with a unique blue gem lining the center. The ring has a glossy tint, and seems to reflect the light, replicating the shimmering glow of the sea. This inexterminable ring is said to have belonged to the elder of the Sage Transformation Clan long ago. It is said the elder infused his life force into the ring, and from then on after that point the ring would be passed on from generation to generation. Due to the violent nature of the Sage Transformation Clan, the clan would be in a constant state of war with itself as well as with outside forces. Eventually the ring would be lost to the ages, and it's whereabouts would become a mystery. This powerful ring was said to enhance the capabilities of a clansmen tremendously. Centuries later, this ring would find its way into Taek's hands as he traveled about the ninja world, although at first ignorant to the powers this mysterious ring held despite his lineage. He would soon discover the ultimate power he could wield with it. After a number of battles wielding the Chimera Ring, Taek would realize that the ring was able to store the nature energy Taek passively absorbed, and supply this chakra into Sage Transformation forms and techniques. Through this Taek was able to increase the function of his transformations. This ring's purpose is to give the user a whole new dimension of control. For a clan that is practically synonymous with unstable, this meant something. Through this new found control, the power of Taek's transformation techniques and attacks were increased significantly, as a result of the additional infusion of nature energy.

  • Fang
    This refers to the the ring's ability to maintain and store nature energy passively absorbed by Sage Transformation Clansmen. The stored nature energy is then siphoned into transformations/forms and techniques. The ring acts as a gate of sorts, when the body passively absorbs nature energy a good portion of the nature energy absorbed isn't utilized. The ring serves to maximize the amount of nature energy the user uses in battle. So when a Sage Transformation Clansmen uses a Sage Transformation technique, the nature energy passively absorbed goes to the ring, through the ring. Due to the increase of chakra from the environment (+10 chakra) in addition to the users own chakra, the technique used gains an increase in the power, which is translated into a single rank increase up to S rank.

Description: After creating several versatile and powerful techniques from the shark contract, the Mand'alor began exploring the world with new friends and allies. Around Kirigakure, specifically the Shivering Sea, lived a secluded and unknown type of shark that dwelled deep within the ocean. They were so deep in the ocean that the light from the sun and moon would never reach them, keeping them within eternal darkness and away from humanity. Their habitat was fierce, as were the predators and prey that lived in the unexplored waters. As chance had it, on his way to Nagi Island, the Mand'alor found one of these sharks and from it's uniqueness and individuality, took it into one of his labs at Concord Dawn for further investigation. The Mand'alor dubbed these sharks "Deep Blues" due to their dark blue bodies. One could even mistake that color for black, even with their white undersides for comparison. The reason these sharks were so special was their adaptation to the ocean's water pressure and the predators deep within the sea, giving them enhanced durability opposed to other shark summons within the Mand'alor's arsenal. The added durability would equate to shark ninjutsu in conjunction with this technique being able to play on the terms of elemental ninjutsu (twenty points of damage for reference). The Deep Blue's teeth were sharper and stronger than any shark's recorded best yet, their speed in the frigidly cold water was double that of regular sharks from adapting to the water's cold and pressure, and their sense of smell was far beyond the limits of normal sharks. However, the species was not perfect. Due to years and years of breeding and evolution, these selective species of sharks were robbed of their eyesight from all their years without the sun or moon lighting up the world or them. They were truly brutal creatures and savages for blood - the perfect companions for the Mand'alor.

Description: Similar in use to the smoke and flash bombs respectively, this tech dazes the senses by emitting a powerful sound and light. It was powerful enough to block even enhanced senses of sight and hearing, leaving those with vision and sound based sensing useless. It's major downside, however, is that due to affecting a wide area, allies could also be caught in the blast radius if not warned beforehand. Due to the mass amount of chakra released from the explosion, chakra based sensing dilate also left useless. These are also able to negate B rank and below technological sensing devices as well.
Note: User can have up to 3 max while Cyborgs have up to 6.


(Abusōbu Ude) - Absorption Arm

Description: A cyborg attachment to the user's body, the user has a robotic limb that allows for him to create spheres of energy that are capable of absorbing chakra up to S rank level. These spheres are capable of dealing brute force on impact as well, growing to large heights, up to 4 meters in radius. Starting at roughly rasengan size, these spheres grow proportionally to the size of the technique absorbed. Normal Ninja are able to make use of one of these devices via specialized gloves that allow them to absorb 1 Ninjutsu per turn up to S rank while Cyborgs have these attachments and are able to absorb up to Forbidden powered attacks and 1 from each arm per turn.
Note: Can be used a max of 3 times for Ninja and 6 for Cyborgs.


(Katai Omori: Doroppu) Leg Weights: Drop

Description:
The user stops, bends over to reach his legs and unstraps his leg weights, dropping them to the ground. As a result the user gains a drastic boost to his running speed (doubles) and +20 to all his Strong Fist Kick-related moves. However, this boost in strength and speed is completely nullified when releasing the EIG or when using any kind of movement speed enhancement technique or weight manipulation technique; they don't add up on each other.

(Heishi Piru) Soldier Pills
Type: Supplementary
Description and Background:Soldier pills are a more combat aimed variation of the military ration pill. Upon ingesting the pill, your chakra supply doubles, but burns at a greatly accelerated rate due to the "pressure" involved. Upon ingesting the pill, any ninjutsu you use gains +15 damage and any taijutsu gains +10 for 4 turns. Upon expiration of the effects you must use an extra 10 chakra for every technique afterwards for 5 turns with no enhanced effects due to the fatigue setting in meaning you have to force your techniques more, and thereby adding to the toll it takes on your body. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use in combat and are essentially black small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach, made off of various ingredients and medicinal herbs as well as stimulants. Can only be given out to up to 4 times, excluding the user's use.
Description of Side Effects:
-Upon using a second pill in a conflict the additional chakra cost after expiry rises to +30 until healed
-Upon taking a third pill, the medical ninja will suffer cardiac arrest upon expiry of the pill.
-Costs a move per turn to use.

(Hyōrōgan) Military Ration Pills
Type: Healing
Description and Background:Military Rations Pills (兵糧丸, Hyōrōgan) are special pills that replenish one's chakra and nourish the body. It is made up of powerful stimulants and nutrients, said to allow the user to keep fighting for three days and three nights without rest. Replenishes 50 percent of the user's maximum chakra supply per pill taken, along with pumping stimulants into the body to alleviate tiredness. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use or distribute in combat and are essentially dark brown small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach. Can only be given out to up to 4 times, excluding the user's use.
Description of Side Effects:
-Taking two pills in a conflict results in hyper-stimulation of the cardiovascular system. The users heart rate and blood pressure increase to the point they become painful for 6 turns after taking the pill.
-Taking 3 pills in a conflict pushes the user's cardiovascular system to breaking point, resulting in heart failure after 4 turns.
-Costs a move per turn to use.

(Ketsueki no Zōka Piru) Blood Replenishing Pill
Type: Healing
Description and Background: Contains high concentrations of amino acids, iron and mitosis inducing enzymes designed to turbo boost the production of erythrocytes from haematopoetic stem cells in the human body. This pill alleviates and cancels the symptoms of blood loss after one turn. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use or administer in combat and are essentially dark red small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach
Description of Side Effects:
-Taking 2 pills leads to increased blood pressure, and increased likelihood of blood clots forming, specially through trauma.
-Taking 3 pills over stresses the cardiovascular system and causes fainting from lack of blood to the head after 4 turns.
-Costs a move per turn to use.

Since it is a skin doe, don't you have to follow it's rules? Or did that change?!
