SYMMETRY of EYES & BODY: Inheritance from HAGAROMO.

While passing on his genetics, Hagaromo's Rinnegan eyes got degraded into the Sharingan in the Elder Son. By symmetry, Hagaromo's Body got degraded into the Senju Body in the Younger Son.

Now my question is: Just what was Hagaromo's body?

Everyone's answers doesn't require Uchiha DNA. But why is the Rinnegan so special as to require both Uchiha DNA and Senju DNA but the Sage's body doesn't?

it was sage mode. He was most likely a perfect sage who was in a permanent sage mode. Something like how hugo constantly absorbs senjutsu just the he doesn't go berzerk and his chakras are always balanced out.

Exactly, I believe this too. The only reason Madara hasn't done it is because he doesn't know how to activate sage mode.
