Naruto TnJ'd obito after the sword broke so his will is still strong although he had some doubts. That being said hashirama noted that obito was stronger than him so the nunoboko was still stronger than a lot of things including hashirama's shinsuusenju or madara's kyuubi susanoo. I'd imagine a full juubi jin like hagoromo would be insanely powerful with that sword.

He wouldn't of been able to create the sword without Hagoromoo's chakra.


Being a juubi jinchuuriki gives you Hagoromoo's chakra/power

As soon as Obito started visioning himself as naruto, he lost his feelings/will to fight.

So the sword became useless...
