Okay I was wondering what is the process of swapping phones with a company like At&t. I am about to get my friends iPhone 4s and I am changing from my Galaxy S3 to that iPhone. So does anyone know what I need to do to swap the account to the other phone?

I've done something like this.

If the iPhone isn't AT&T but your Galaxy S3 is, then call or visit your local AT&T store and ask them if they can flash the iPhone to AT&T, or, if they can't usually clerks know where it can be done, because I had to visit some other store to do it.

If they're both AT&T, just go to AT&T's store (you might be able to do it over phone) and ask them to switch the account to that phone.

AT&T and any other carrier that uses sim cards can easily switch service to the other phone.

Just remove your active sim card from your current phone and put it in the phone you want service to be on.

There's no need to take it to AT&T.

That's not gonna work. iPhones don't open, so you can't switch sim cards.

This, it's simple if they both require SIM cards.

See yea I thought iPhones didn't have sim cards. But the best bet is go to At&t.

All iPhones have sim cards, besides the Verizon and Sprint versions of the iPhone 4.

T-Mobile also has sims cards.

The sim card slot is on the right side of the phone on the iPhone 4 and higher, and it's on the top center on the original iPhone- iPhone 3GS

Wow never knew this. I always thought they had no sim card. Plus that's why I never got one just encase I want to change up. Thanks for tell me that. Do I need to have to change my plan or anything to fit the iPhone?

...no

Your SIM card basically gives a phone your account information so that it works with your account. There's nothing that needs to be changed with your account to use your SIM card in another phone. New iPhones use micro-SIM cards, and you can ask AT&T or whoever you go with for a micro-SIM for no charge.

It's very easy.
