Imagine that, Susanoo'O, an advanced Fire technique, is strong against Rasengen shuriken, a wind technique.

It's almost like Kishi actually paid attention to the elemental strengths and weaknesses he wrote into the earlier parts of the manga.

Either way, Canon or non-canon, Susanoo is pretty impervious to physical attacks but not invulnerable. If Susanoo took it head on, I'm fairly certain it would damage it a bit if not destroy it.
In that video, Susanoo just batted it off, implying it must not want to get hit directly by it.

Video games are not manga, U Tube is not manga, only what Kishi says count and not what some fan wants.

That's a game trailer. In said game you can punch and kick Minato to death.
That should be enough to indicate how non canon the whole thing is.

Ryu in street fighter is the hero, and lu in mortal combat, video games are made so anybody at anytime can win under the right conditions if their better at pulling the moves off at the right time over their opponents same with Naruto or any other game,it dose not have to follow cannon law.

sorry but noob comes to mind, open ur mind up dude. Kishi doesnt control every aspect of his work. His places copy wrights that stops ppl from using his work for free. But the creative work of things that arent tested in the manga like wind rasengan vs sassano is up to the game maker.

This has been the same with dbz and its games too. Games dont follow the cannon to the letter. And in a game there must be balance so characters need counters to nukes or no owuld use sasuke against naruto in the game.



As for a serious note, we have seen sassano get damaged by far lesser techs than wind rasengan. So what do you think?

And? Rasen shuriken has been blocked plenty of times. The edo raikage and Pain were able to deflect the jutsu wth their unique defences. Sasuke is powerful enough to deflect rasenshuriken with susano'o, Sasuke is going to be stronger than any of Naruto's past opponents.

I stand by my initial analysis, but allow me to expound a bit:

At it's core, Susanoo'O is a fire tech.

RasenShuriken is a wind technique that transforms the compressed spinning chakra into spinning compressed air.
Rasengen Shuriken is a wind technique.

As stated in the manga when Naruto first learned how to do elemental release, Fire tech's are strong against wind techniques and weak against water.

It's not been specified in the manga if earth and lightning techniques have any particular weaknesses or strengths against fire techniques, but i believe it has been stated in some of the video games. That's a strict non-canon interpretation, but it does fit with traditional chinsese elements (Lightning can stand in for metal in some instances of chinese medicine), and probably makes for good game balance in some situations.

As a wind technique, it would make sense that Susanoo'O is strong as a defense against RasenShuriken as it should cause the Susanoo'O user to be surrounded with enhanced flame that becomes non-existent within the center of Susanoo'O, while immolating the things on the outside of Susanoo'O, but Kishi sometimes forgets small things like that for the sake of the story.

I can speculate about yin and yang elements and how they differ and a bunch of other stuff that is fairly tangent to this actual thread, but as far as Susanoo'O vs RasenShuriken goes all that really matters is fire vs wind.

I don't doubt that Susanno'o can tank a rasenshuriken, seeing as how they deemed it worthy to pull Madara out of his before letting Naruto hit him with it. However, this video is from a video game and really has no pull when it comes to the manga.

this intresting, if sassano is a fire tech at heart wind would make it stronger dfeence and attacks.,

Will see, but i do like this idea as this would be a way for sasuke to compete with naruto.
