Susanoo is a great technique an has impressive offensive & defensive skills.

I would say it's one of the best moves/techniques but that it is only useful if the user has EMS or is in Itachi's class as he knew how to use it sparingly.

There are many moves which are stronger yet provide no defence to the caster and others who have much greater defence than Susanoo as it doesn't cause them the same damage or risks.

This is the conclusion I draw up for Susanoo.

Well, Sasuke's Susaanu has already been penetrated easily by Danzo' basic wind release jutsu, partially broken by A's nintaijutsu attack, melted by Mei's kg jutsu attack.
Madara's Susanoo has already been penetrated by Gara's sand move. So Susanoo is not the best defense even it was not used by Sasuke and Madar at full scale because if it is at full scale then opponent has to put more chakra into their jutsus so It is not best defense. However in my opinion, 3rd Raikage has the best defense.

Plus what I think that Susanoo may have a weekness against earth style jutsu as a person efficient with earth style jutsu can enter susanoo by travelling underground as Susanoo is covering the user on the earth not beneath the earth (It is my guess only).

In all truth sussano is the best all around jutsu we have seen in this manga it is the ultimate defense (stated in the manga)

Mokuton is much better. It not only attacks and defends but it heals its user at the same time. Sasunoo is nice but the drawback is it takes its user's life energy. Woudnt you have to consider Mokuton better based on that? Oh yeah mokuton defended against a Tbb Sasunoo cannot so not only does it defend but is a much more powerful defense. It can also supress chakra (kyubi) . I think Mokuton is by far the best jutsu in the narutoverse.

Its koo that you like sasunoo I mean I do too, but to say it is the best because you like makes no sense.

Actually Mokuton is the 2nd best, Edo Tech would have to be the 1st

its not completely invincible seeing as mai has damaged it plus tsunade and you can pull people out of it as seen by gaara so with these examples naruto could brake it with bijuu ball and his new rasengan when complete would destroy it and i believe jiraiya could use his swamp jutsu to stop the user i would have to say itaichi's is the best with yeta mirror and the tasuka sword(i think thats how its spelt)

it is good don't get me wrong, but so many have been seen busting right through it so far in the manga.

imo one of THE best is tobi/masked man's 'phasing-teleporting-space-time-your-attack-goes-right-through-me-cuz-i'm-a-boss-ridiculousness' and/or izanagi as a last resort is neat too imo

Susano'o differs in strength with each user. Itachi's Susano'o is the only one that has not been breached yet but he hardly used it. What makes this Susano'o exceptional is the Yata's Mirror that supposedly changes its own properties to adapt to the attacks directed towards the user. This Susano'o also has exceptional offense, the Blade of Totsuka, which seals anything it pierces.

Both Sasuke's (incomplete) and Madara's (complete) Susano'o has been broken through many times. There are obviously techniques that are greater than the Susano'o but no doubt Susano'o is one of the top ranked abilities out there.

Every technique has a weakness.

Actually, There are 2 problems with your statement here...

1) You cannot have Sussanno, unless your are an Uchiha...
So, you need to have special chakra, special eyes, AND a dead brother with the prior two conditions, to be able to achieve Sussanno...

2) Your statement, saying that Bijuudama is not a Jutsu, is plain bull-crap. It is a Jutsu, which only the Bijuu can use(Just like Only Uchiha can use the Sharingan n its abilities).. It is the same as concentrating the chakra outside the body (Rasengan, Chidori, etc...)
ALSO, to become a Bijuu/Jinchuriki, you need to have a special chakra, that is compatible with the Tailed beast.... Its the same as needing the chakra/eyes for Sussanno...

So, in both cases, ppl who say they would prefer the Bijuudama, are NOT WRONG...
