Eh i think he repaired it in the A vs Sasuke fight when he liger bombed him idk though i could be wrong good assumption though.

in that fight sasuke's susanoo didn't progress further after being broken,and didn't get repaired,it progressed after he stopped using it while talking to gaara.

Who cares they can use different methods either drop it or stand back to repair it. The weakness is that powerful attacks can still break through Susanoo and the user is vulnerable. Genjutsu can also stop a Susanoo user. Dragging their feet to release them from Susanoo. There is many ways to stop Susanoo, you just got to know when to take the opportunity was a weakness shows up.
