How many times can a Susanoo be (re)formed?
Both parts, and full, susanoo.
I mean Susanoo is such an OP defense ability that it's almost unfair for it to be able to be reformed/regenerated at any time.
I mean, once it's broken, there must be a wait time until it can be used again! At least, that's what I hope. Unless the user cancels the jutsu which I think would not initiate the cool down...
I've tried looking for this through google but I haven't got a definite answer... Or any, as a matter of fact.
ALSO
Does the Susanoo's toughness varies between users? Or is it just uniformly strong and durable?

As proven by Tsunade, most of the time, once it's broken, the user dies. Usually those attacks that are able to break a Susanoo do great damage.

If it is shattered once, it will shatter completely, and then after that, the user can even repair it.

I remember when Tsunade's Kick broke Susano'o ribcage, but Sasuke's Kirin couldn't break the ribcage, lol.[SUB]

Really? Where was this? I don't recall Tsunade proving this. And yes, Susanoo can withstand tremendous pressure and extreme damage.

I don't think Itachi had it formed by the time Kirin hit. Considering the radius of the blast, Sasuke was caught in the strike too, however he survived with no Susanoo activated.

I could also mention that IF susanoo's toughness varied from person to person, then Itachi's Susanoo would have been considerably weak because he did not have EMS and that he was very sick, whereas Madara had virtually unlimited chakra and was considered one of the most powerful Sharingan user and NOT sick (for obvious reasons). But this is a stretch which assumes that Susanoo varies by user.

Susanoo is HIGHLY inconsistent and it seems to suit the plot. One minute it's getting pieces broken off of it, the next it isn't by similar or stronger attacks.

XD Tsunade's kick >> Kirin

How much chakra, I wonder?

That is a good question.

Hell, how much chakra is needed to even use it? It's a giant made of pure chakra, and PS even more so. Where does ALL of that chakra come from???

Itachi said he survived because he was able to use Susanoo in time though.

Hmm, I guess I missed the part where Itachi said about using his susanoo. However, I stand by with saying that Sasuke was most likely caught in the blast and he had no Susanoo on (which I think would have been extremely difficult for him to pull one out in time considering that he was also controlling Kirin ).

Itachi said if it wasn't for Susano'o he would be dead. Sasuke probably did get hit by it, though not a lot because he was the one controlling it and on the highest top of the mountain. But it was said that Sasuke was in bad shape hanging on by a thread. That kirin obliterated Itachi's Susano'o.

I guess it did. But I think it was only the rib cage because the Kirin attack was fast and an armored Susanoo doesn't form that fast. There is no factual evidence whether this is true or not though. Sadly.
