I have become really disillusioned by the way the susanoo's are translated from the manga to anime. the most recent proved my point, i mean who actually thought madara's susanoo's actually looked good. Please don't take this out of context, im not against uchiha or anything.

Well if you're talking about the full formed susanoo from madara thats true. im just talking about the ones that have appeared so far

Oh, I see. They haven't been too bad in Madara's case. Only thing that bothered me was Sasuke's Susano'o blade. He used Enton in the manga for his blade, but in the anime it was just a regular Susano'o sword.

But yes, the animation was mediocre.

That was my qualm. The orb nor the sword were Enton in the anime. How they missed that from the obvious indication in the manga, I will never know...

Like the gif. and its a perfect example of point too. it basically looks like they layered it over sasuke, with absolutely no consideration to detail. thanks for putting it up

This is why I hate anime :| Shit looks like it was fan made.
I srsly dont know how you can have one of the most popular anime but make it suck so bad >__O

they are both in the anime it is just that they are purple instead of black

I honestly have no idea how the animator did not at least made the colorings like it was in the manga. The way Yasaka Magatama and the blade was really damn inconsistent.

Is it really that hard to at least use the correct colors?

Agreed. I never enjoyed the way susanoo is portrayed in the anime. Not only the susanoo, but most things. The naruto anime is very dissapointing. The drawings/art work is just very bad, and most of the times, the animation is not good either.
You can actually feel the lack of interest of the animators. This sucks.

Except that he is not an animator, he doesnt have a team of animators, he is not from an animation studio, and he is not paid. Animation is hard, but it's their job. To criticize, one doesnt have to do better, one has to have arguments and knowledge on the subject. If something is bad, it is bad, no matter who made it, no matter who is saying it.

I understand what you're saying, but lets be honest, the susanoo isn't an everyday thing being animated and also its one of the main powers of the narutoverse, you would think that they'd be careful to correctly animate it.

Actually, the itachi susanoo wasn't bad at all i enjoyed it, but they have been slipping drastically, i can say the same thing about naruto's bm too.
