Everyone is laying on the ground moaning while Madara is completely unscathed.

Because V1 Chakra Cloak protects the entire body and depending on how you react to the attack, that's where you're left standing. Susano'o is just like a bowl on top of a cake protecting it.

If Susano'o was a full-body suit like V1 Chakra Cloak, Madara would be on the ground as well.
But then again, the Tenpenchii looked like it didn't hit Madara's area as much.[SUB]

Well, lava burned Naruto using v1 chakra cloak, but it didn't burn susano'o. V1 also let Sasuke tank a Liger Bomb from Ay, and really strong hit from Chojiro. I don't think v1 chakra cloak can do all that
