I think why Madara was able to use Susano'o is linked to why Nagato couldn't use it.

Let us analyze the situation where Madara used Susano'o while he had Rinnegan active.

If indeed Susano'o emanated from Madara's Rinnegan, then Nagato should be able to use it, but he couldn't. Therefore Madara's Susano'o couldn't have emanated from his Rinnegan.


So it must have emanated from his Sharingan right? Wrong!! Madara's Rinnegan was active, not the Sharingan, so it couldn't have came from the Sharingan.

Besides, Madara was shown to switch in order to access Sharingan Genjutsu, meaning that the Rinnegan most likely cannot use any Sharingan techs.


So what is so special about Susano'o? In composition, it is the most unique tech of MS. All other MS techs are either Genjutsu or some form of attack at distance( Amatratsu, Kamui), Susanoo is the only one that is neither. The structure of Susanoo suggest that it is an extension of the body. So maybe with enough Senju DNA/experimentation on the actual body, this extension can be made permanent.


While I am not sure exactly sure of the reason why Madara can use Susanoo without his eyes, I'm certain of one thing, during the period when he had Rinnegan & Susanoo active, Susanoo came from neither the Sharingan nor the Rinnegan.

Yeah except answer me this question, why the eyes only?

If Yin and Yang are truly equal, then why does the Yin( Sharingan) evolves to the Rinnegan(Yin/Yang) while the Yang( Senju body) doesn't evolve into a perfect Yin/Yang combo as well. How is this even possible? It has to be the way I posited otherwise there would be logical contractions against the perfect Yin/Yang balance of nature in general.

I think you got it wrong... old Madara told young Obito that u need both eyes to "unlock" their true potential.

My personal belief is that once youve unlocked it, you can use susanoo as you please... but Obito lost his left eye before he could obtain MS and unlock it.

- Itachi activated susanoo without his sharingan activated.
- Madara activated susanoo with the rinnegan activated.
- Sasuke activated susanoo just before removing his eye-bandages after getting Itachis eyes.
- Madara activated susanoo with no eyes.

Maybe you haven't paid much attention to Madara's description of how he gained the rinnegan. It never happened when he first put Senju cells into his body but when he was near death. That statement alone shows that it's more than just putting the two DNAs together to make it work. Come on bro pay attention to the manga.
