Exactly, well I based my assumption of the description from the databook, though it is a lot like that in naruto wiki. But if you read it, the description matches what happens to Bee.

Except, Normal Sharingan Genjutsu or the Genjutsu he used on Orochimaru doesn't put a strain on one of the user's eyes like the Genjutsu (Tsukuyomi) he used on Bee did.

It still shouldn't harm sasuke if it's a basic genjutsu powered by Ms (thats even if switching to Ms gives normal genjutsu's more strength).

It's only the Ms techs themselves that cause the user Pain/blindness. If it was indeed a normal genjutsu powered by Ms it shouldn't of harmed him.
Since it's not activation of the Ms that causes the Pain, It's usings it's techs.

Thanks a lot, I think I will be making a thread on something like this very soon, the overall idea is to somewhat justify that the 2 abilities Sasuke is seen using with 1 eye, is in fact the same ability, the ability to alter shape and time. How else can he extinguish amaterasu? It is clearly said it can't be extinguished, but if you alter time forward on the flame alone it would end it. So Sasuke and Itachis MS ability is in fact the ability to alter time of your own jutsu itself. This works perfectly for tsukuyomi as well, since it is a genjutsu altered through time as well. Though it might be a long shot I will give it a try
